The Study of 2+1 Dimensional KdV Equation in Non-Uniform Dusty Plasmas

Article Preview

Abstract:

The combined effects of the inhomogeneity and higher-order transverse perturbation on the nonlinear solitary waves are investigated. People are very interested in the nonlinear reverse structure (such as solitary wave, shock) in dusty plasma. Dusty plasma is a kind of ionized gas which contains electronics, plasma and dust particles. As the characters of big quality and high negative of dust particles, whose existence will significantly affect the behavior of plasma and stimulate the rich wave model. Today the study to nonlinear wave in inhomogeneity dusty plasma is focused on one-dimensional and it is very small to three-dimension. A modified variable coefficients Kadomtsev-de Vries (KdV) equation is obtained by using the reductive perturbation method. The conclusion can be got from the simulation that inhomogeneity has strong influence on the nonlinear properties of dust acoustic solitary waves.
