Research on Application of Building Photovoltaic System in Shanghai - Taking Chenjia Town as an Example

Abstract:

The goal of this paper is to discuss whether building photovoltaic systems are suitable to be applied in Shanghai and Chenjiazhen in Chongming Island is taken as a typical example to be researched. Practical running data tested from building photovoltaic system of Chenjia Town ecological building and planning design of Building Integrated PV in Chenjia Town international ecological community were analysed. The research result was positive to use this energy system. Therefore, when new buildings in similar areas are planned to be designed, the designers should pay more attention to the applicable possibility of Building Integrated PV, which is beneficial to boost the use of renewable energy.
