Analysis of R&D Capacity and Cooperation Trend of China and US in the Field of Building Energy Efficiency - Based on Paper and Patent Data

Abstract:

Based on the database of Thomson Reuters, the bibliometric and patent information of China and US in the field of Building Energy Efficiency from 2006 to 2011 are searched. The R&D capacity of China and US in the field of Building Energy Efficiency are compared, the advantageous institutes in this field are identified. The cooperation trend between China and US on Building energy efficiency is analyzed. Some suggestions are proposed based on the data analysis.
