The Number of Runs and its Application in Biological Medicine Testing

Abstract:

Based on the elementary method, the formulas of the probability distribution of the number of runs and its mathematical expectation and variance are proposed. Furthermore, an application of the number of runs in biological medicine testing is discussed.
