Abstract: Arc suppression coil has been applied widely in power system.It focuses on the fault that arc suppression coil often appears in the process, and divides to the nature of the faults. We also take corresponding treatment methods for different faults at the same time. This article introduces the failure processing methods of the arc suppression coil in detail, expounding respectively that the general failure processing methods, the abnormal failure processing methods of arc suppression coil, the action failure processing methods and the discontinued failure processing methods.

Abstract: The multilayer adhesive structure of solid rocket motors (SRM) is studied in this paper. The ultrasonic pulse-echo measuring method was described to measuring multilayer adhesive structure acoustic parameters. The sound velocity of the thermal barrier and cladding layer was measured. The acoustic impedance and acoustic attenuation coefficient was gained by theoretical calculation. A method of equivalent thermal barrier was proposed to analyzing the transmission coefficient and the reflection coefficient. The experimental results indicate that the method of equivalent thermal barrier can simplify the SRM theoretical model of multilayer adhesive structure, and thus it can effectively provide a good help for SRM structure acoustic research.

Abstract: In order to enhance the effectiveness of the vehicle active anti-collision warning system, this article discussed a new classification method of radar target based on the radar cross section (RCS). This article first modeled nine types of representative vehicles. And then, using the Large Element PO (Physical Optics) method, this article calculated these vehicles’ RCS with the electromagnetic calculation software. Furthermore, this article classified these nine kinds of vehicles into four types according to vehicles’ RCS. The new classification method may be beneficial to the application of the vehicle active anti-collision warning system.

Abstract: Based on the Analysis of pseudo-range positioning principle and the precision evaluating method, the navigation antenna shelter models of GPS and COMPASS in measurement ship are established. And then the varieties of the geometry dilutions of precision are analyzed in condition of the different shelters. Results show that the geometry dilutions of precision increases due to the large-scaling shelter, the requirement of overlay can’t be satisfied in some region. The overlay ratio of the navigation system will be increased via improving the height of the navigation Antenna location. The overlay of the COMPASS is forecasted and analyzed in shelter condition in order to provide evidences for the measurement ship navigation and follow-up application of COMPASS.

Abstract: Focused on static high-definition sequence images captured on the highway bayonet, this paper proposes a new approach for vehicle detection and shadow elimination based on average background modeling, which uses average background model and background subtraction to locate vehicle roughly, eliminates shadow of the vehicle using canny edge detection with dynamic histogram threshold determined by the histogram of the image. Experiments show that this method can locate the position of vehicle quickly and accurately.

Abstract: In order to solve the difficult problem of the transmission-type smoke meter response time, which needs to be settled urgently, response time testers have been developed, according to China's metrological verification regulation JJG 976-2010《Calibration procedures of transmission-type smoke meter》. The tester integrated several communication protocols of transmission-type smoke meter manufacturers, takes measurements at every 20ms, draws absorptance N curves in real time and displays the final response time in man-machine interface. The measuring range of the tester is (600~2000) ms, and the error is ±20ms. It is very convenient, fast, and accurate to verify for transmission–type smoke meter and traffic analyzer.

Abstract: This paper mainly introduces monitoring principle, montitoring methods and development process of hardware and software of rolling bearing fault monitoring system based on LabVIEW. The system makes full use of computer technology, data acquisition, signal analysis and processing techniques, and fault diagnosis theory to improve monitoring and fault diagnosis of rolling bearing. The system also integrates the functions of traditional detecting instrument and provides a friendly man-machine interface which can display online data.

Abstract: A hydraulic experimental monitor system for electric submersible pump (ESP) was designed, which contains data acquisition and monitor interface. Data acquisition applied Advantech Data Acquisition and Siemens Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Monitor interface applied Monitor and Control Generated System (MCGS). The results prove that the system can control the speed of ESP and display and record many signals, such as flow-rate, pressure, torque, rotation speed, liquid level, etc. The ways of converting analog signals, processing pulse signal and controlling speed are introduced.

Abstract: Photoionization detector (PID) provided an efficient and inexpensive approach for many gas and vapor analytes. Using PID as a real-time diagnostic tool in contaminated site investigation has been addressed in this study in comparison with post-time GC-MS detection. Total pollutant concentrations from selected field soil samples were calculated by addition of each VOCs and SVOCs contaminant concentration detected via an Agilent 6890 GC-MS, while portable photoionization detector (PPID) values were recorded in real-time during site investigation. Contamination distributions were plotted based on PPID readings and GC-MS data respectively. The results showed a positive correlation between PPID readings and contaminants concentrations, suggesting that PPID reading could be used as a qualitative tool to characterize the approximate range of pollutants. The accuracy of PPID reading for VOCs and SVOCs detection at contaminated site investigation could be optimized by calibration and specialized measurement protocols.
