Abstract: With the development of networks, the relationships between networks have also been increasingly intimate. It is envisioned that these interdependent networks are more vulnerable. In order to study the robustness of interdependent networks, in this paper, we characterize a load redistribution model based on distance and cascading failure model about interdependent communication network and power network. The failure model joined the load factor on the basis of the penetration model. We analyze the influence of different distribution distance threshold to interdependent networks. The simulation shows that global redistribution yields better performance and enough capacity cannot prevent cascading failure completely.

Abstract: Based on the full analysis of the LED drive power of active and passive (PFC) circuit, the active and passive (PFC) circuits of the LED drive power are performed a detailed analysis, and the types, series and mode of the PFC circuit are also described in detail, the working principles of the valley fill circuit and APFC boost converter are mainly analyzed. Based on those studies, an APFC circuit is given by the use of L6562A and a simple application of APFC circuit presented.

Abstract: Wind energy industry in China has developed from the rapid growth into a period of steady growth. This paper analyzes the development status of wind energy industry in China , pointing out the problem in the development of wind energy generation equipment quality needs to be strengthened, digestion and absorption problems of wind energy technology, the defecting in wind energy development planning and approval mechanisms , mode of financing , market segmentation , and climatic factors, giving advices such as the proposing quality standards, broading the financing channels, promoting the sustainable development of countermeasures in place to sustainable development of wind energy.

Abstract: Targeting at the improvement and optimization of the deficiencies of traditional over-current protection, multi-agent strategy is applied in relay protection to improve the fast response of the backup protection. While confirming the feasibility of the above-mentioned strategy, PLC and field bus techniques are adopted to realize information interaction and liaison among multiple agents and host computer in the environment, converting the original passive time-limit mechanism to active strategic collaboration. And the thesis materializes the effective application of the microcomputer-based, multi-agent-based protection in specific projects.

Abstract: In order to generate low frequency acoustic wave and minish the ratio of the length to diameter, it is appropriate to instead the circular jet by annular jet as the high pressure gas power. So the larger diameter of jet and resonator are got in the condition of the same pressure and flux. Flow simulations and experiments have been performed in order to better understand the behavior of the powered resonance tube (PRT) driven by annular. Simulation and experiment results show the PRT can be excited by a annular jet, and produce low frequency high-amplitude dynamic pressures and acoustic emission. The compression wave and expansion wave transmit into and out of the resonance tube alternately in a cycle and a cycle can be decomposed to two distinct stages of filling and evacuation. In experiment PRT can work in the low frequency at very low pressure, and PRT can generate intense sound wave at frequency from 50~3200Hz.

Abstract: Generally in China, the power distribution networks below 35kV level are Neutral un-effectual grounding systems. Single-phase electric arc grounding failure takes up the majority of neutral un-effectual grounding power system failures. However, it is a very complex process to deal with arc fault so that establishing a mathematical model for arc becomes challenging. Matlab Simulink was hence utilized to establish arc simulation model. Comparisons were made between the ideal wave form and the result based on the single phase arc grounding fault simulation to test the validity of the model, which shows good consistency.

Abstract: Recently, with the increasing strength of attracting business and investments in Liaoning coastal area or big cities’ suburbs (counties), a large number of industrial and mining enterprises have shifted to rural areas. The rural areas’ power load is growing rapidly, but at the same time, many power sites such as 66kv substation, 10kv transmission line, and low-voltage distribution area have occurred different levels of “low voltage”, which affect the daily life and production of native residents. From 2011, Liaoning Electric Power Co., Ltd. has applied the third generation of dynamic reactive power compensation technology—SVG to control the “low voltage” of rural network, which has fast speed and strong compensation. And as a consequence, there is good social and economic benefit.

Abstract: Nonlinear finite element model of a transmission tower-line system was set up and galloping of iced bundle conductors in the system was numerically simulated by means of ANSYS software. Based on galloping trajectories, vibration frequency, galloping order, conductor tension; unbalanced tension characteristics of iced conductors, it was shown that values of the conductor amplitudes by the tower-line system model are increased by 20% compared to the conductor model. The values of the strain tower unbalanced tensions by the tower-line system model are decreased by 20% and the values of the suspension tower unbalanced tensions by the tower-line system model are decreased by 62.5% compared to the conductor model conductor-insulator mode1. The galloping order is different for different span, due to the impact of the order of galloping. The amplitude of the vertical galloping is increasing while the increasing span, but it is not linear increase.

Abstract: This paper presents a power emergency communication solution based on long distance optical fiber communication technology. It use a portable ultra-long span optical amplifying device composed by optical components, by configuring different optical amplification scheme, using redundancy fiber to set up a new transport channel quickly, it achieve the function of emergency communication. Specific configurations are proposed for 2.5G and 10G SDH optical transmission system, and conducted field test and validation. The solution is flexible to configure and easy to install, it provides a convenient emergency communication solution for fast failure recovery of fiber line interruption, damage of relay stations, and fiber aging in electric system.

Abstract: Recently, wavelength division mulplexing (WDM) technology has been extensively studied, and various WDM-PON architectures have been proposed for next-generation passive optical network (PON). In this paper, we combine the TDM with WDM architecture to achieve high-speed, long-distance transmission. To reduce the cost of ONU, we achive the colorless ONU by placing a Reflective Semiconductor Optical Amplifier (RSOA) in the uplink transmission. We build the whole architecture to simulate the Hybrid WDM/TDM PON System in Optisystem and the experimental results prove that the architecture is feasible and reasonable.
