VSI-Fed Induction Motor Drive for Photovoltaic Pumping

Abstract:

A modified form of pumping that is energy efficient and energized from a batteryless system using photovoltaic panels, push pull converter and an induction motor is presented. The analysis and optimization of energy processing cycle and the design of a sensorless VSI fed Induction motor drive system are done. The improvement in the performance is shown experimentally.
