Bus Safety Regulatory System Design Based on Internet of Vehicles Technology

Abstract:

To provide a reliable system for bus safety regulation, an intelligent bus safety regulatory system based on Internet of Vehicles technology was presented in this paper. By intelligent vehicle terminal and data acquisition sensor platform on the bus, all kinds of sensor data in the bus can be gathered and transferred in high-speed mobile environment. They include interior surveillance video images, bus speed, the number of people getting on or off, and the location of the bus, etc. The number of people aboard bus, getting on or off, vehicle location, the speed of buses and other conditions of real-time monitoring and early warning are realized.
