Abstract:

The single chip Microcontroller STC89C52RC was used as controller in the system, the HC-SR04 ultrasonic module was used to send and receive ultrasonic, and the single chip Microcontroller can calculate the distance of the measured object by the time difference of sending and receiving of ultrasonic. In order to improve the measurement precision, temperature compensation method was used, the temperature can be obtained by the digital temperature sensor DS18B20,the LCD1602 was used to real-time display the distance and ambient temperature, this two values were sent to PC by serial port, the Visual Basic 6.0 was used to program the monitor interface, convenient remote observation. The realization method of the system hardware and software were presented in this paper, the experimental results show that the system has the characteristics of simple structure, high measuring precision, good stability, easy operation and so on.
