Abstract: The paper is focused on the problems of the fatigue behaviour, failure and resistance of reinforced pre-stressed concrete railway sleepers, developed and verified continuously in the period of several last years. The results of fatigue loading tests are presented for the sleepers for both wide and narrow track gauge. Test results have been evaluated using the criteria for the acceptance based on the load corresponding to the prescribed crack width and the load at the moment of total fracture.

Abstract: In this paper, on the basis of static stress analysis of the Glider wings, we compare different factors influencing the drag force converted by the glider wings and optimize them by comparing the simulation results with the calculation results. The results shows that the horizontal component force is reach maximum value when attack angle reaches 45°. After that the horizontal component force decreases as attack angle increases. The horizontal component force is gradually increased as the flow rate increases under same attack angle.

Abstract: Reducing vehicle pollutant emissions and fuel consumption is becoming more and more important challenges, while lean-burning are a promising development. However, lean-burning may leads to other problems including combustion instability and incomplete combustion. Recently, laser ignition system has become an attractive field of research in order to replace the conventional spark plug ignition systems in the internal combustion engines to solve problem above. Moreover, methane was regarded as very promising fuel. Therefore, the objective of this article is to review the ignition and combustion characteristics of methane-air mixtures by laser-induced ignition.

Abstract: 135 Subjectively Equal Speed experiments were designed by using the Forced-Choice Method, 6 males and 2 females’ experiment results indicated that fog exerts a two-way influence to the driver's speed perception. When visibility was low (e.g:39m), fog resulted in overestimation of the speed, When visibility was higher, fog resulted in underestimation of the speed, it is not in accordance with one-way influence of Anstis and Snowden. Have analyzed the reason why the experimental result is inconsistent and emerge in terms of light stream rate and contrast ratio in thesis. When visibility is low, the nearby optical flow rate is great which cause the driver overestimate the speed; When visibility is higher, the decline of contrast cause the driver underestimate the speed.

Abstract: Through an overview to understand the basic situation of tilting back self dumping truck. Design and manufacture of the overall carriage, chassis, carriage structure, sub frame respectively to complete the overall design and manufacture of self discharging carriage. The self discharging carriage has a variety of series, according to the different characteristics and performances of each series the carriages are used in different areas.

Abstract: This paper analyses the behaviour ofpiezoelectric transducer for harvesting energy. The transducer was designedusing different materials for harnessing energy that include Zinc Oxide, LeadZirconate Titanate (PZT-2) and Quartz. The transducer was simulated using thesematerials and the voltage generated from ambient vibrations was analysed. MEMsmodule of COMSOL Multiphysics Simulation software was used to perform thesimulations. Behaviour of different materials towards various frequencies madeknown in this study gives an opportunity to estimate the fabricated device and alsosheds light on prospective applications it fits.

Abstract: This paperdescribes an approach based on Wi-Fi technology to remotelycontrol the stepper motor. Through usingMCU Nested Vectored InterruptController (NVIC) and timer, the stepper motor would run smooth without intervalor frame miss, which could happen due to the problem of unstable Wi-Fi connection. The drive board and Wi-Fi module were also re designed to smooth the runningprocess of stepper motor.

Abstract: the inverter is one of the key technologies in PV system. It transforms the DC power output by the PV panel to AC power that the grid needs. The main technologies of the inverter are the circuit topology and the control tactic. The circuit topologies of inverter including the frequency isolated PV grid-connected inverters, the high-frequency isolated PV grid-connected inverter, the single-stage non-isolated PV grid-connect inverter and the multi-level non-isolated PV grid-connected inverter. The control tactics including the voltage oriented control (VOC), the voltage-based direct power control (V-DPC), the virtual-flux oriented control (VFOC) and the virtual-flux based direct power control (VF-DPC).

Abstract: Forcesensor is very important in the rehabilitation robot. However, the force sensorsignals will introduce noise easily on the process of transmitting, amplifyingand sampling, which is very unfavorable for the robot motion control. Thispaper reviews the common digital filtering algorithm and analyzes theirprinciples, advantages and disadvantages, then designs an improved filteringalgorithm combines the limiting filtering algorithm withthe first-order lag filtering algorithm. At last, this paper verifies thefiltering effect by theoretical analysis, simulation and experiments.

Abstract: Design of a new magnetorheological damper gap structure, combined with viscous lag model, analyzed the damper structural parameters, Design the damping devices with different sizes. Comparison of the structure of the damper with different sizes after experiment, finding that the structure parameters has a significant effect on the performance of the damper. Designing a reasonable clearance structure is very important for improving the performance of MRF damper. The experimental results and the model fit have a good fitting accuracy.
