Abstract: The paper starts with haze weather, gives a brief introduction on the relationship between the generation of haze and the solid waste incineration. Introduced the popular incineration technology at home and abroad, analyzed the fly ash and acid gas which comes from waste incineration. At last, the paper expounded the processing and application of fly ash in the sight of resource recovery.

Abstract: The microwave catalytic reduction of NO was studied in activated carbon bed. The conversion of NO to N2 under microwave irradiation remarkably increased compared to conventional heating, which indicates that the microwave irradiation has microwave catalysis effect besides thermal effect. The effects of a series of reaction parameters on the productivity of N2 with a new microwave catalytic reactor system were investigated. The results show that NO is converted predominantly to N2 under all reaction conditions and the highest conversion of NO to N2 is up to 99.8% under optimized conditions.

Abstract: Soil samples were collected from a paddy field at Fulong village, Huanjiang County, and Cd concentrations in soils were determined. Soil Cd risk was evaluated using Nemerow index method. The results showed that the content of cadmium in soil layer of 0~20cm is 2 times than the level two standard values and 6 times than the background value of Huanjiang soil. In addition, the soil layer of 20~100cm in cadmium content did not exceed the national level two standard values, but is about 2 times the background value of soil in Huanjiang county. In addition, Cadmium pollution is mainly focused on the soil surface.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to influence of coal-smoke air pollution on the respiratory health in pupils. Provide a gist for the prevention and control of atmospheric pollution. Via using the method of random sampling, we chose two primary schools from coal-smoke polluted areas in urban and two schools from countryside where it is not affected by the coal-smoke pollution, therefore we got total number of 680 primary students as object for this study. Compared to the primary schools children in the countryside, the incidence of respiratory symptoms such as cough, sputum and wheezing, is higher among the children in the urban areas. It is higher significantly in the diagnosis of pneumonia, acute respiratory infection and asthma (P<0.01). Coal-smoke air pollution increases the risk of respiratory symptoms and disease in primary school children, it is the hazard factor of damaging the respiratory symptoms in the children.

Abstract: Based on the meteorological data collected from 3 stations in recent 10 years in Fushun region, the reference crop evapotranspiration was calculated with the Penman-Monteith equation recommended by FAO in 1990. The evapotranspiration of the region was analyzed using linear regression analysis based on software of SPSS. The results showed that the linear correlation was evident between the evapotranspiration data of stations, but it is not significant for the linear correlation between the stations, neither between the stations. The result will be helpful to analysis of the space distributions of the reference crop evapotranspiration in the region.

Abstract: The use of volatile fatty acids (VFAs) as process indicators in biogas reactors treating Food Waste (FW) was studied. The aim of this work was to determine a reliable parameter which could be used as an indicator of process imbalance during anaerobic digestion of FW in the continuously stirred tank reactors (CSTR) anaerobic reactor. It can be concluded from this that not only VFAs concentrations are indicator for process imbalance during anaerobic digestion of FW, but also VFAs changes constitute the most important indicators of early warning of process imbalances.

Abstract: This paper studies the situation of rural household solid wastes (RHSW) in China. Taking some village as a research object, the traditional widely used compost method is improved. And in combination with the living standards of local farmers, energy structure and the change of climate, a new type of rural household solid wastes management mode is proposed in the paper. In order to examine the eligibility of the management mode, an experiment is adopted in the paper. The results show that the new mode can well satisfy the index of the regulations.

Abstract: By using the self-adaptive numerical model, 3-dimensional bar clinic Lagrangian circulation in the East China Sea (the Bohai Sea, Huanghai Sea (Yellow Sea) and East China Sea) (ECS) in winter and summer is computed, the results reflect well the features of the circulation in the ECS. The conclusion that “the Huanghai Sea Warm Current in winter is the mixing water of the Tsushima Warm Current and the continental shelf water, it is not a direct branch of the Tsushima Warm Current” is inconsistent with the traditional viewpoint, but agrees well with the actual observations.

Abstract: The coastal circulation is one of the focuses in environmental protection. A self-adaptive numerical model of the circulation in the East China Sea (the Bohai Sea, Huanghai Sea (Yellow Sea) and East China Sea) (ECS) is established for the first time. By using a self-adaptive grid system, the grids are denser at the continental slope of the ECS. Thus, the difficult problem of applying a 3-dimensional (3D) baroclinic model with coordinate transformation at continental slope is solved. This model can be used to simulate 3D baroclinic current fields and to obtain wind-driven, thermohaline and tide-induced Lagrangian circulation.

Abstract: Analyzing fire severity of designed fire scene is necessary for building fire protection. Ordinary building fire times are calculated from statistic data of their fire heat release rates. Building fire is modeled mathematically to deduce its time-temperature function. Basing on this function curve and Simon Ingberg’s fire severity definition, we establish fire severity classification theory for building fire, including definition and equation of its fire severity, and definition of its fire severity coefficient along with calculation of those coefficients of ordinary combustible solids, and calculation and classification steps for building fire severity.
