Abstract: Guizhou province GuanLing Dazhai high speed and long distance landslide in the June 28 of is one of the typical landslides that related to rainstorm in 2010. The strength of Dazhai landslide which is given priority to with mudstone decreased rapidly under the softening action of the heavy rain. Hydrostatic pressure of landslide rear fissure and buoyancy of sliding surface for the stability of the landslide decline has played a significant impact. Combined with strength reduction method and using 3DEC for simulating Dazhai landslide. Landslide safety coefficient before and after rainstorm are obtained and analyses the instability of the landslide.

Abstract: The design height of a concrete sand-gravel dam is up to 251 meters, which has strong unloading rock masses with great depth on the left bank. According to the topographic and hydro geologic conditions of the dam site, a three-dimensional finite element model for seepage calculation of the dam is established. Based on the equivalent continuum method, the effect of anti-seepage and drainage system within run-time with normal storage level is studied, meanwhile, the seepage elements are obtained, including the seepage of the groundwater, the discharge of the dam, the seepage gradient of the dam body and the impervious curtain and so on, thus the conclusion that the anti-seepage and drainage system is reasonable is verified. What’s more, the influence of the different length and depth of the anti-seepage curtain to the distribution of groundwater seepage as well as the effect of "L" type drainage in the dam body are analyzed in order that the suggestion of the optimization of anti-seepage and drainage system is put forward for the high concrete sand-gravel dam.

Abstract: Taking the J2 area YK10+615~YK10+650 miles section related to the connection line of River-crossing tunnel to Nanjing plum delta--the youth Olympic axis underground traffic system engineering as the background, the 3d model is established by using finite element software MIDAS/GTS, the mileage period of excavation process is simulated, discuss the influence of excavation on adjacent soils. Calculation results show that the excavation will inevitably cause deformation of adjacent soil, and comparing the results of calculate and the actual monitoring data show that the method has certain guiding significance to actual engineering.

Abstract: The new arms form of radial gate—dendritic arms is introduced for the proper mechanical mechanism, however the stability design is very difficult. According to the stability theory of structure, the stability analysis model of step column with lateral restraints was proposed for dendritic arms, some equations was derived from the principle of minimum potential energy, the practical formulas of buckling bearing capacity and effective length coefficient were provided. According to an example, the accuracy on formulas was verified by finite analysis method.

Abstract: With the rapid development of China's water conservancy decades, the application of hydraulic steel gate demand is increasing. Among the many types of hydraulic steel gate, the radial gate because of its closed orifice area, pier height is small, over-water conditions are good, open and close rapidly, less embedded parts, etc., are a very wide range of applications. But the survey found that there are many curved steel gate accident in the history of its application. Most accidents are caused due to the instability of the arm, the ultimate reason is the traditional design methods flawed. According to the traditional method of checking the experience plus the theoretical design out of the gate structure, the safety factor is too large, but the overall stress distribution is very uneven, resulting in the investment project is too large, it is difficult to ensure the safe operation of the whole structure. Therefore, it is necessary for radial gate design method to improve it. In this paper, based on the continuum topology optimization theory, combined with structural finite element analysis software, representing a new systematic method of designing curved steel gate.

Abstract: At present, many hydropower stations eliminate the expansion joints to solve the pipe leakage problem. It’s very important to control the welding environment temperatures in eliminating the final weld joint of the expansion joints. To address this problem, by adopting three-dimensional finite element model in studying the hydro project of Wanjiazhai, this paper analyzes the stress state of steel pipe in all welding environment temperatures in details and suggests the proper range of welding environment temperatures. Researchers suggest that May is suitable to perform welding.

Abstract: This paper introduces the current situation and existing problems of coal water slurry gasification technology (CWS). Sinopec Qilu combines with the structural characteristics of gasifier burner, analyzes the phenomenon of the short service life of gasifier burner from various perspectives, and expounds reasons. The requirements of CWS gasification for the fuel burner are given, and the new idea used in jet-nozzle design is also given in this paper.
