Infinite Cylinder Lumped Parameter Analysis Method of Unsteady-State Conduction

Article Preview

Abstract:

The paper extends the traditional lumped parameter analysis method of unsteady-state. Under the convection boundary 0<Bi<∞, a mean temperature lumped parameter analysis method is studied and the mean temperature response formula has been established. Taking an infinite cylinder as an example, the paper presents the regular pattern of the transient mean temperature value and discusses the numerical analysis. The method for solving the unsteady-state conduction in the paper is more convenient and practical than the M.P. Heisler charts that had been used in textbooks of native and foreign countries.
