Abstract: The main dam of Banqiao reservoir consists of the concrete overflow dam and the earth dam in both sides, which are connected by concrete lateral key wall. Field observation shows that serious leakage problems exist at the connection of the overflow dam and the earth dam in right bank. According to the real size of structures, the FEM model are established to calculate and analysis the seepage field characteristics at the connection part. The potential ground water level shows that the reservoir water flowing to the downstream bypassing and passing through the lateral key wall and the anti-seepage curtain. And there exists partial seepage passage at the connection part. As the contact seepage gradient along the lateral key wall is uneven, the contact leakage at the connection part is not fully safe although the average contact seepage gradient is within the permissible range. Effective measures should be taken to solve the seepage defects at the connection part.

Abstract: In China the development pace of green building is becoming more and more fast. But there are many technical problems during the green building construction. The Library of Shandong Jiaotong University is the first case of green library building in China. The ecological implementation in the atrium is one of the important ecological strategies of the Library. While construction we encountered more technical problems, especially the contradiction between the natural ventilation, natural lighting and fire safety. In this article based on the atrium technology design of the green building and combined the practice of the atrium some strategies realizing natural lighting, natural ventilation in the fire safety, applicable, economy and art.are summarized in detail. It is the aim to give some references and to promote the green building implementation.

Abstract: This paper based on the characteristic of large scale、more Individual project、Operation difficulty in water conservancy and Hydropower Engineering,make a improvement of the original LEC method in order to get the purpose of reduce the risk coefficient. The results show that:the results of the improved LEC method in this paper is more simple and more accurate than the original improved LEC method. Accurate estimation of hazard levels not only can be appropriate to reduce the budget of production units in the construction safety,but also means that the increase of enterprise benefit and social benefit.

Abstract: An externally pre-stressed continuous box girder bridge is designed according to loading features of the continuous beam. The CFRP bars and steel strands are used to make two models for externally pre-stressed reinforcements at the supporting points. CFRP reinforcement area of Model 1 at the supporting point is 1/2 of steel strand externally pre-stressed reinforcements of model 2 at the supporting points. After the calculation, we can find that under effects of the same tension control stress and the external loads, mechanical effects of the continuous box girder bridges with CFRP bars can be equal to or better than performances of continuous box girder bridges with steel strands. They can provide references to applications of CFRP bar.

The phenomenon of soil liquefaction damage occurred many times at home and abroad in the earthquake history. By the research of the future, this paper combs the domestic and foreign typical seismic liquefaction phenomenon and refining mechanism of soil liquefaction.

Abstract: The accumulated CaO consumption rate of 25% in grouting concretion stone is considered as the termination of durability life in the paper. Influence factors on the service life of grouting cement stone are studied and the variation laws on the service life, strength and pH value are revealed. The acceptance criteria of durability evaluation are proposed. The practical methods for durability evaluation are established based on the pH value of caustic solution including the expression of service life prediction model, and classification principles of durability evaluation. The calculation process is illustrated by examples. The method provides references for the durability evaluation of grouting concretion stone under the common atmosphere.

Abstract: This study investigated the influence of slope and floor slipperiness on subjective rating of manual material handling (MMH), and identified the consistence between the subjective rating and objective measurement of floor slipperiness under various physical workloads. The COF measurements under slopes (0 ̊~10 ̊), three different floors and two surface conditions were conducted in this study. Thirty adults were recruited to carry four kinds of loads (0~15 kg) and walk on the slope. A survey was immediately conducted to obtain their rating of perceived exertion and perceived sense of slip while handling the loads. The results showed that the influences of gender, slopes, and loads on subjective ratings were significant statistically. The correlation between subjective rating and objective measurements of slipperiness was significantly high. Furthermore, the results also suggested that the floor materials should be selected to avoid the slip accidents. The limitations of slope and load also should be considered for different gender to prevent the disorders on the slopes for MMH tasks. As a result for obtaining the rating of perceived exertion, it was suggested that the combinations of slope angle and load are 5o and 15 kg for male and 5oand 10 kg for female.

Abstract: “Kranok” mostly are inspired by the application from natural shapes such as lotus shape, floral species, climber creeping plants or various animals especially animals in the fairy tales. “Kranok” which previously had the meaning of a Thai Painting but later this was used to call another tradition paining which was believed to be applied from the shape of a lotus. Considered as a Thai Tradition Painting Model which is an important base of the Thai Tradition Painting inclusive of the model and steps of drawing the painting and the application into a variety of paintings in the same structure but with different paintings such as one “Kranok”, Three “Kanok”s, Bai Thes “Kranok”s. Afterwards there was a development of the models of the painting which were different according to the ages or periods with characteristic identities with the inspiration from nature as well. Thai Traditional Ancient Showcase/Cabinet/Cupboard in the past used many divisions of Traditional Thai Crafts craftsmen to brainstorm the creation whereby each division craftsman would be with different skills and techniques of design, Thai significant divisions of craftsmen are such as wood carding, lacquer work and mother of pearl inlay.
