Delay Analysis and Application of Signal Control Intersections

Abstract:

This paper analyzes the vehicle blocked process of urban signal control intersections and the survey methods of intersection delay. The license plate method and the point sample method have been selected as investigation method of signal control intersections in many ways. The delay time of Youyi avenue road and Minzu east road intersection in Baotou was analyzed and calculated by survey data. The data indicates the calculation results of two survey method are consistent with the actual experience of driver.
