Abstract: According to the magnetic suspension character of the rotor in moment Gyro, the control mathematic model for the Gyro’s rotor magnetic suspension system is founded. The system is characterized by its instability,nonlinearity. In this paper, a Variable Structure Controller is designed. Based on the general Variable Structure Controller theory, the design of switch function using the method of self-adapting configuring pole and the design of Variable Structure Controller using trending law are discussed. At the same time, the switch surface of Variable Structure Controller is designed by the method of self-adoptive configuring pole, so the performance quality of sliding mode is ensured. Accordingly, the Variable Structure Controller, self –adaptive control and fuzzy control are organic combined. The simulating results show that the controller is characterized by fast dynamic respond, strong robust, according to the application in the rotor magnetic suspension system. The result show that the controller can guarantee every state parameter in the rotor magnetic suspension system to trend the designed value.

Abstract: This paper introduces an automatic shutdown system for model protection during the flutter test in high speed wind tunnels. This automatic shutdown system can be used to determine any unsafe condition through model flutter signals before triggering shutdown of wind tunnels, solving problems of delayed response and mistakes happen during manual measurement of subcritical state of model flutter. The reliability and effectiveness of this system have been proved good via wind tunnel tests, hence the possibility of damage to the model caused by flutter during the flutter test of high speed wind tunnels can be decreased.

Abstract: The ability of a mobile robot to plan its path is the key task in the field of robotics, which is to find a shortest, collision free, optimal path in the various scenes. In this paper, different existing path planning methods are presented, and classified as: geometric construction method, artificial intelligent path planning method, grid method, and artificial potential field method. This paper briefly introduces the basic ideas of the four methods and compares them. Some challenging topics are presented based on the reviewed papers.

Abstract: With the rapid development of our economic in recent year, electricity supply becomes tighter gradually. As when electric welder in ballast, the loss of power is much and factor of power is low which leads to the quality of power supply is poor and accidents of electric shock occurred. In order to solve such prominent problem, we research and the design of energy saving safety control regulator of electric welding machine, it will eliminate the loss of ac welder and improve the quality of power supply, ensuring the safe of the welders. The paper proved the correctness and effectiveness of the design through the installation test at last.

Abstract: The paper proposed a controller combined fuzzy logic with linear quadratic regulator (LQR). This controller was able to adjust the swing angle precisely during the lifting of gantry crane. It resolved the problem that the LQR controller mostly depending on the accuracy of the mathematical model. First, the paper analyzed the design method of the LQR, then an improved method combing with fuzzy logic was put forward in detail and a further simulation experiment was carried on the MATLAB. The result shows that compared with LQR, the Fuzzy-LQR method can drive the crane to destination in a shorter time and reduced the swing angle by a third.

Abstract: The direction of the flexible robot body controllable feeding has been a problem. Such as the traditional industrial endoscope applications, it is only the head can be active deflection. If the endoscope want to feed into the deep and complex structure of the unknown cavity, it is necessary to give the outside pipeline route guidance, otherwise flexible body of the endoscope is difficult to active changing direction in accordance with the environments. In this paper, a mechanical system is studied to help flexible body enable to active steering and improving initiative and flexibility in an unknown space.

Abstract: For the travelling path control problem of differential wheeled pipeline robot, this paper proposes an approach to measure the velocities of drive wheels by photoelectric encoder, and gets trajectory curves of drive wheels on the experimental platform. Based on simulation of trajectory curves, fuzzy PID control of pipeline robot is fulfilled in straight travelling process. After PID parameters are implemented on the experimental robot fine control effectiveness is achieved.

Abstract: Nowadays though there are large varieties of NC maintenance training equipments in China, the high price as well as the lack of multi-function has made the existed equipments fail to meet teachers and students’ real demands during the NC maintenance training process, it is of great significance to design a special equipment which can combine the theory and practice during the teaching process. Based on the real demands during the teaching practice and taking the PLC assembling software as a core, the NC maintenance training equipment which can fulfill lots of functions including the machine installation and adjustment was designed in this article to enhance the teaching effectiveness of teachers as well as the practice abilities of students.
