Abstract: The scale invariant features transform (SIFT) is commonly used in object recognition,According to the problems of large memory consumption and low computation speed in SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) algorithm.During the image registration methods based on point features,SIFT point feature is invariant to image scale and rotation, and provides robust matching across a substantial range of affine distortion. Experiments show that on the premise that registration accuracy is stable, the proposed algorithm solves the problem of high requirement of memory and the efficiency is improved greatly, which is applicable for registering remote sensing images of large areas.

Abstract: For improving the reliability and resource utilization of oil and gas pipeline Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, the application framework of oil and gas pipeline SCADA system based on cloud computing and a high reliability scheduling algorithm is proposed in the paper. Simulation results show the SCADA system based on cloud computing with new scheduling algorithm can realize history data backup in many computers and real-time data processed with primary-backup copy. So, the new application framework and new scheduling algorithm can provide better reliability and improve the resource utilization of system.

Abstract: Cars have become an important transportation tool of people's daily life. And how to implement information technology to improve the convenience and intelligence of using vehicle has become the popular research direction. In this paper, the author uses Spring+Hibernate framework and OBD technology to develop vehicle network platform with high portability, scalability, easy maintenance etc. The operation of this platform will greatly increase the intelligence and convenience of the vehicle use, provide practical application and research of the current vehicle network.

Abstract: Machining optimization problem aims to optimize machinery conditions which are important for economic settings. The effective methods for solving these problems using a finite sequence of instructions can be categorized into two groups; exact optimization algorithm and meta-heuristic algorithms. A well-known meta-heuristic approach called Harmony Search Algorithm was used to compare with Particle Swarm Optimization. We implemented and analysed algorithms using unconstrained problems under different conditions included single, multi-peak, curved ridge optimization, and machinery optimization problem. The computational outputs demonstrated the proposed Particle Swarm Optimization resulted in the better outcomes in term of mean and variance of process yields.

Abstract: The travel and tourism industry is one of the main sources of income in Thailand. People choose to travel around the world, as a way to relax and enjoy their time. Users search information from many resources before and during their travel. We grouped the mobile tourism applications into two main groups in order to analyse the nature of information in the tourism applications. Social network provides rich collaborative user-generated information. We found that most tourism applications require personal information and pre-existing association in order to get information. We argue that, in tourism, a user requires instant and easy access to information. So the social network might not be an appropriate option. Therefore we propose a simple collaborative user-generated content application, which has a location awareness chat system. We aim to provide an application with self-sufficient information that allows the user to instantly share, search, and comment on information at anytime and anywhere. Moreover, the location awareness chat system is introduced to provide instant firsthand information to the users as well.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of low accuracy of single model collaborative filtering, this paper proposes an adaptive ensemble learning recommendation algorithm (AdaELRA). In the algorithm we minimize the prediction error through the gradient descent method, and set as the deviation coefficient to adaptive the prediction error, so that the sample weights will be more in line with the predictions. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the algorithm this paper proposed reduce the time complexity and it can improve the accuracy significantly.
