Abstract: In the process of using dye turmeric, the behavior of conventional dyeing and ultrasonic dyeing were compared. The processing of conventional dyeing and ultrasonic dyeing, such as dyeing time, dyeing temperature, pH value, and the amount of salt on the effect of K/S value, were investigated. The results show that the dye-uptake was greatly improved by using ultrasound. Meanwhile, the ultrasound dyeing was demonstrated more dominant in energy saving.

Abstract: Size plays an important role in sizing. The sort of size is various, and its various performance indicators are not comprehensive, so it brings very great difficulty to sizing workers. Through a large number of experiments, LX-6, PAM, SFB, LM, FY five kinds of solid poly-acrylic acid size of various performances had been tested, contrasted and analyzed. Meanwhile, the film-forming ability, and the adhesion of pure cotton roving and polyester-cotton roving were tested. Moreover, we did experiments on polyester cotton yarns, which were sized with these five kinds of size, and the sized yarn hairiness reduction rate, moisture regain, enhancement rate, reduction rate and other performance indicators had been tested, contrasted and analyzed. Results provide reference for the use of these five kinds of size.

Abstract: In this experiment, tussah fabric was dye-free printed by using tryptophan-added method. The physical and chemical properties of printed fabrics were tested and measured. The optimal process for tussah fabric dye-free printing tryptophan added has got, which was tryptophan mass fraction of 7.5 %, PHBA of 8 %, HCl of 15 %, HEC of 2.5 %, and H2O2 of 2 %. The tussah silk fabric squeegee performed twice and then dried at 80°C for 30 min showed best printing result. Its printing pattern and outline were clear, and it had deep and uniform color. Meanwhile, the breaking strength of the fabric, color fastness and breathability, softness performs were well. What’s more, a short process was used, which it’s more environment-friendly and more economical.

Abstract: Kenaf fibers were dyed with capsanthin using supercritical carbon dioxide. Response surface methodology, based on a three level and three variable small central composite design, was employed to obtain the best possible combination of dyeing time, temperature and pressure for maximum K/S value.The optimum conditions were as follows: dyeing time of 60 min, temperature of 119.99 °C and pressure of 30 MPa. Under these conditions, the K/S value was 17.54, which was similar to the value predicted by the model.

Abstract: The majority of knitted pure cotton fabrics are weft knitted products, while warp knitted products are of few varieties. This paper mainly develops low gauge pure cotton warp knitted fabric using compact spinning and it obtains better result, increases the varieties of knitted pure cotton products.

Abstract: K/S value is an important parameter of modern colorimetry, which can indicate the depth of the color of dyed fabric surface. Measurement of K/S value is easily and simple operation in the applied engineering. Take Reactive Blue B-2GLN as examples in this paper, the relationship between K/S value and the fixing rate with the reactive dyes on cotton fabric was studied. And the feasibility of K/S value instead of the traditional washing method for the determination of reactive dyes fixation rate was also studied. The results show that: the K/S value of the fabric has good linear relationship to the reactive dyes fixation rate by the washing method and the reactive dyes fixation rate can be get from the K/S correction value.

Abstract: In order to study surface structures and properties of wool fabric, plasma treatment, grafting and plasma combined grafting treatment are studied in this paper. The structure of samples was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Furthermore, wetting time, grafting ratio and whiteness were also investigated.

Abstract: Based on the research of the current situation of design and production of fancy yarn, the article point out the reason why the current development of fancy yarn has been limited. Chose dyed fancy yarns in different length as subjects of contrastive experiment, the authors further analyze the different pattern shape caused by the different width of basic fabric formation during the production of fancy yarns. And after the primary discussion of the changing rules and main impact factors of the formation of the fabric pattern, this paper comes to a conclusion, which is with great practical importance to the current development of sweater products, that there is a close relationship between the pattern change of the fancy yarn and the section length of the dyed circle, the proportion of dyed yarn and the width and formation of the fabrics.

Abstract: Optional viscosity average molecular weight of chitosan 3 × 105, the nanophase change microcapsules were mixed in the preparation chitosan spinning dope. Viscometer was used to measure the rheological properties of blend spinning fluid, using infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscope (SEM) and the interactions between the studies of phase change fiber surface microstructure. The results show that, blend spinning fluid is generally the basic characteristics of non-Newtonian fluid, with concentration of spinning solution, viscosity increases; temperature rise, viscosity decreased; prolonged standing, viscosity decreased. Chemical changes occurred between chitosan and microencapsulated phase change,no new chemical bonds, for a simple physical blending. By scanning electron microscope, along with the increase in the amount of phase change nanomicrocapsule, fiber surface is obvious.

Abstract: Using statistical data from year 2003 to 2011, this paper computes the location quotient and cluster scale of Jiangsu textiles industry, which shows a remarkable cluster tendency. Unit root test and Granger cause-effect test show that in the short run, neither did Jiangsu textiles export has a remarkable positive impact on enhancing Jiangsu textiles cluster, nor did Jiangsu textiles cluster has a remarkable positive impact on enhancing Jiangsu textiles. And impulse response ascertains a long and dynamic relationship between them.
