Abstract: A path planning algorithm based on B-spline interpolation techniques was constructed for automatic welding system.The system used a B-spline curve to reconstruct the weld,it was achieved by reversing the control points of B-spline curve through the prescribed date points. The weld posture model was then obtained from the osculating plane and normal plane of B-spline curve. By taking a series coordinate transformation to the weld posture model, the torch posture model based on control terminal was provided.Experiments show that the new algorithm can readily be used for various three-dimensional welding tasks.

Abstract: The bed body of a nursing bed robot employs robotic multiple freedom structure and is controlled by multi-axis coordinating. It can assist to turn over the body, position adjustment and defecating by controls of many modes such as push-button, speech recognition and nursing robot’s remote operation. The collaborative work of nursing robot and nursing bed robot provide the possibility for the home unmanned nursing in the future.

Abstract: Large sag due to heavy weight of the propeller shaft is a major cause of rotating vibration, so that to use the hollow shaft is an effective way to reduce the weight. Many scholars and engineers ignored that the outer and inner diameter are discrete and integer variables in optimization design of the propeller shaft. The practicability of an optimal solution is affected by decimal value of the diameter. A practical reliability optimization model with discrete and integer variable of the propeller shaft is proposed, and “Solver” in Microsoft Excel is used to seek the solution of optimization design. The reliability optimization model is composed of minimum weight objective function and constraint conditions such as torsional strength reliability, torsional stiffness reliability, critical speed, torsional stability, manufacturing process, etc. Design results show that the reliability optimization model with integer and variable of propeller shaft and the solving method with “Solver” in Microsoft Excel are more reliable and efficient.

Abstract: Halbach motor is a new type permanent magnet synchronous motor: unique permanent magnet structure makes its magnetic field unilateral and distributed sinusoidal, increases the magnetic density of air gap while decreases the magnetic density of rotor. It helps to raise the power density and efficiency of power, reduces the size of motor and the pulsating torque. The full-digital variable frequency adjustable speed AGV system with halbach motor based on the TMS320F2812 is designed, and its experiment result proves that it performed well and environment-friendly, saving the energy as well.

Abstract: Based on input-output feedback linearization scheme using the theories of differential geometry, this paper designed a controller for the continuous stirred tank reactor system which is a typical nonlinear, multi-variables, time-varying system. First, continuously different the chosen system outputs until control input appear in the expression. Then, overall linearization can be realized by input variable-substitution if some conditions are satisfied. At last, mature linear control theory is used to control the sub linear system stable. Simulation results show that the proposed control scheme is efficient and the system contains good static, dynamic performance.

Abstract: The method to realize the communication between PC and SIEMENS S7-200 series PLC is introduced through MSComm ActiveX and RS-232 serial communication protocol under VB development environment, and it is explained that the application of this way in the control system of the manipulator in detail. The focal point of introduction is about the function setting of special registers and MSComm ActiveX on VB under free-port communication in PLC, and the way to write program is described to realize receiving and sending the data of PLC.

Abstract: The contact finite element method is proposed to analyze the stress and deformation distribution of elastic expansion sleeve in the paper. The maximum stress position of each component under the most dangerous working condition is obtained. The effect of structure dimension on stress and deformation of elastic expansion sleeve is found out. The structure dimension meeting the practical requirements is gotten. The analysis results provide the reliable theory basis for the design. The optimization for the structure and processing technology of elastic expansion sleeve is realized, based on simulating the design structure.

Abstract: The gray correlation analysis model of the Chery A3 automotive air-conditioning system (SQRWXJS-A308) was established. Gray theoretical analysis method was used to analyze the grey correlation grade of four kinds air-conditioning system development plans, we get the sorting of grey relational grade of technical indexes such as air conditioning manufacturing cost, power consumption, difficulty of manufacturing, system reliability and so on. Comprehensive judgments on the merits of Chery A3 air conditioning system were made.

Abstract: It proposes a method for dynamic simulation of gear meshing force on the basis of dynamics analysis software ADAMS in the paper. Three dimensional solid model of parametric helical gear is built by using PRO/E. The data conversion between PRO/E and ADAMS has been realized. The parameters in contact force are confirmed based on the Hertz elastic impact theory. The gear meshing process has been simulated and analyzed by using mechanical system dynamic simulation software ADAMS. The change regulation of meshing force in the time-domain and frequency-domain has been researched under different speed conditions. It is proved that the meshing force of gears can be accurately simulated by using ADAMS. The simulation results of meshing force can provide basic data for the next gear strength analysis. It also can provide the reference for the analysis of gear dynamic optimization, fatigue and stiffness.

Abstract: The paper analyzes a variety of reasons differential fault automobile differential and establishes the corresponding fault tree by using Fault Tree Analysis of reliability theory. The failure spectrum of automobile differential is constructed through qualitative analysis of the fault tree. Meanwhile the study gives the theoretical methods about the solving of top event’s probability and bottom event’s importance for design, fault diagnosis and repair of automobile differential.
