Abstract: The new room temperature ionic liquid 1-allyl-3-methyl-imidazolium bicarbonate [amim][HCO3] was synthesized. The viscosities and conductivities of [amim][HCO3] + water and + ethanol binary mixtures were determined in the temperature range from 273.15 K to 343.15 K, and the mole fraction of the solvents in the mixtures was in the range of 0 to 0.75 for water and 0 to 0.55 for ethanol. The conductivities of the mixtures increased with increasing concentration of the solvents and temperature in the solvent concentration range studied. The viscosities of the mixtures decreased with increasing temperature.

Abstract: In order to increase antifouling ability of PVDF membrane, crosslinking PEG as antifouling medium in membrane bulk was studied. PEG with different moleculer weight were crosslinked in membrane solution with TMC as crosslinking agent, ATR demonstrated crosslinked PEG were retained in membrane bulk and surface wetting property was improved with contact angle characterization. According to the dynamic fouling test of BSA solution, the PVDF-T1000 membrane exhibited the best antifouling ability with the FRR value as high as 90%.

Abstract: In this article, the crushed bamboo bundles were pre-treated with dilute alkali were used as raw materials and then treated with reactive dyes. The influence of the fixing process including Na2CO3 concentration and processing time was studied systematically and an optimized fixing process for dyeing bamboo bundles was obtained. The results showed that:1)These two treatment conditions all can improve the dye uptake and fixation rate; 2)With the increasing of Na2CO3 concentration, the dye uptake and fixation rate are rises gradually and all be increased 20% most, then get the stabilizing when it is 20g / L; The fixation treatment time has little effect on the staining results with the variation range under 7%; 3)The most satisfactory effect could be obtained: The Na2CO3 concentration and processing time is 20g/L and 30min, respectively.

Abstract: Thousands of tons of tar residue are gained as by-products in the production of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) using heavy solvent. It is very necessary to recycle the residue. In view of residue composition’s diversity, high purity isophthalic acid (IPA) was obtained as product by hydrolysis of diethyl isophthalate (DEIP) in the residue. Multiple factors which affected the yield of isophthalic acid were investigated. Suitable reaction conditions for industrial production were summarized: the tar residue was grinded to 100 mesh, mass ratio (NaOH: material) was 0.3:1, react in water for 3 hours at 90°C.

Abstract: The pull-in behavior of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), which is the sudden increase in the deflection of two interacting CNTs, affects the properties of CNT networks significantly, and thus becomes an important subject in applications. In this paper, an energy-based analysis is carried out to predict the pull-in behavior as well as the critical pull-in distance between two interacting CNTs, and the results agree well with the subsequent atomistic simulations. Furthermore, the factors that affect the critical pull-in distance are also investigated. It is found that the length and diameter of CNTs and space angle between CNTs affect the critical pull-in distance significantly: the critical pull-in distance increases almost linearly with the increasing CNT length and decreasing CNT diameter, and the parallel CNTs have a much higher critical pull-in distance than the non-parallel CNTs. Besides, the chirality of CNTs has a little influence, and when the two CNTs are both zigzag and armchair, the critical pull-in distance is higher than the CNTs with other chiralities due to their stronger commensurability effect. The method and results in this paper will provide nanoscale reference for the design and optimization of CNT-based nanomaterials and nanodevices.

Abstract: Aluminum foam sandwiches (AFS) were successfully prepared by a powder metallurgical method. TiH2 powders were pre-treated in air at 450°C and 500°C for 2h in order to clarify the effect of oxidation treatment on AFS in comparison to those as-received. The decomposition curves of as-received and oxidized TiH2 powders were monitored using DSC. The macro-morphology, expansion ratio, interfacial bonding and cell structure of AFS were systematically investigated. The results show that the AFS utilize TiH2 powders oxidized in air at 450°C for 2h exhibits the best performance, under which conditions the effective bonding between the panel and core, 200% of the expansion rate and uniform pore structure of AFS have been achieved.

Abstract: Fiber-reinforced composites have many advantages for many different fields. As for sport teaching, it is also closely connected with fiber-reinforced composites. The paper studies the advantages of fiber-reinforced composites as well as applied equipments to be used in sport teaching. Traditional mode of sports education emphasizes that PE teachers train learners to learn a skill and guide them how to win the game. Rarely do they involve how to guide them to make full use of different tools of different materials to achieve their goals. However, with the advance of information technology, college learners have more freedom to make their choices, which makes sports education in universities and colleges more challenging. This essay is to study the function and effects of applied equipment in sport teaching based on fiber-reinforced composites.

Abstract: Simulated moving bed (SMB) chromatographic separation has become a highly promising method for chiral separation due to the less solvent consumption and efficient utilization of stationary phase. As reported, Azelnidipine exists two isomeric forms, it is necessary to product azelnidipine single enantiomer for medical safety and drug developmen. However, the separation of azelnidipine enantiomers on SMB is complex, requiring many operating parameters. And the SMB processes with temperature gradient (non-isotherm) mode may have significant advantages over the traditional isothermal mode. In this article, the Henry constants of azelnidipine enantiomers were determined with pulse experiments on Chiralpak AD column at different temperatures. It provided important references for the production of azelnidipine single enantiomer with non-isotherm SMB.

Abstract: A new photochromic diarylethene of 1-(3,5-dimethyl-4-isoxazole)-2- (2-methyl-(5-ethynyl)-3-thienyl) perfluorocyclopentene (1o) was synthesized. Its photochromic and fluorescence properties were investigated systematically. Upon irradiation with UV light with the extended response time, the diarylethene underwent a ring opening reaction to produce closed forms and color change in solution. The results showed the compound exhibited good photochromism in hexane solution. The kinetic experiments showed that the cyclization and cycloreversion processes were zeroth and first order reaction, respectively. Moreover, diarylethene 1o also exhibited obviously fluorescence switches along with the photochromism.

Abstract: A novel photochromic diarylethene was synthesized and its photochromic and fluorescent properties were investigated. The results showed that this compound exhibited reversible photochromism, changing from colorless to amaranth after irradiation with UV light both in solution and PMMA amorphous film. In hexane, compound 1a exhibited an absorption peak at 266 nm, upon irradiation with 297 nm light, a new visible absorption band centered at 530 nm emerged while the original peak at 266 nm decreased. In PMMA amorphous film, diarylethene 1a also showed good photochromism as similar to that in solution. The photochromic reaction kinetics indicated that the cyclization processes of 1a belong to the zeroth order reaction and the cycloreversion process belong to the first order reaction. Diarylethene 1a also exhibited good fluorescent switching both in solution and in PMMA film upon alternating irradiation with UV and visible light.
