Abstract: The experimental analysis is conducted for jet noise reduction of separate flow chevron pylon-based nozzles at takeoff condition. The experimental results indicate that the pylon makes a noise reduction at low-frequency but produces an increase at high-frequency, together with an overall sound pressure reduction below the pylon. Compared to chevron nozzle without pylon, the adding of a pylon reduces noise benefit of chevron nozzles found in the isolated nozzle without a pylon. The best low-frequency noise reduction is located below the pylon where peak noise reduction is as high as about 1.3dB on frequency spectrum.

Abstract: Based on the two degree of freedom model of kiloton all-terrain crane, he effects of relationship of deflection angle on turning radius were investigated in multi-axle steering system. MATLAB/Simulink was used to analyze the relationship of every axle in multi-axle steering and optimize the minimum turning radius. The studies show that the kiloton all-terrain crane adapted all-wheel steering driving at 5speed , and the front wheel angle was 32.3°, as compared to the rolling radius before optimization, the turning radius in all wheel turnaround reduced by 33%, which improved the vehicle capacity through the complex curve and increased the vehicle steering flexibility.

Abstract: Precise load spectrum of crane is essential to its fatigue analysis and life assessment. The v-SVRM (v-support vector regression machine) correctly established is key to an undistorted load spectrum. Due to computational complexity, low accuracy, poor stability of the conventional model parameter selection method with v-SVRM, a fruit fly optimization algorithm with the characteristics of easy adjustment and high precision is applied. In order to make three kind parameters synchronously optimizing search, the fruit fly algorithm is improved in consideration of parameters characteristic of the crane load spectrum v-SVRM prediction model. Then, combining the improved fruit fly algorithm with penalty function and using anti-bound thought, a secondary optimization is carried out for three kind parameters. The results of examples engineering show that the optimal parameter group selected by the improved algorithm shortens the training time, reduces the computational complexity and improves the learning accuracy and generalization ability of v-SVRM model. The accuracy and stability of parameters is enhanced by secondary optimization, so as to a better robustness and versatility of v-SVRM predictive model. It also provides a new way for the establishment of efficient and convenient crane load spectrum v-SVRM forecast model.

Abstract: The analysis model is built to investigate the out-of-plane stability of crane jib with auxiliary bracing. Considering the second-order effect, the analytical expression of the out-of-plane buckling characteristic equation for the crane jib with auxiliary bracing is obtained by establishing the bending deflection differential equation of jib under the instability critical state with the method of differential equation. The equilibrium equation of the cable converging point in the lateral direction is introduced to solve the differential equation besides the boundary conditions and deformation compatibility equations. With the characteristic equation, the critical compression or the critical lifting load can be easily obtained. The characteristic equation is analytically expressed and the analytical results obtained agree very well with the finite element method (FEM) results. The validity of the characteristic equation is verified.

Abstract: It is hard for normal traffic to travel on rugged road and polluted for the environment. So a new multi-legged walking machine with double mixed power is designed. The machine is made up of several parts, including mechanic walking part with eight legs, transmission part with two gears, two electric control footboards, two power motors and a folded beach umbrella. Detailed explanation of designed idea and process for mechanic walking legs is made. Detailed explanation of transmission ratio, circuit diagram and working principle for gear transmission is made as well. It makes simulation analysis for mechanic legs by software AUTODESK INVENTOR. The result shows that moving distance and strength are satisfied and meet standard.

Abstract: ANSYS14.0 structural analysis software is used in order to make a ring rib-reticulated shell for the overall stability analysis. Considering the geometric nonlinear analysis and initial geometric imperfections influence , obtain a key node of the load - displacement curve and assess the ultimate strength of the structure. The results showed that: the structure meets the "Space grid rules" for monolayer shells stability requirements. And it is found that load distribution form and initial geometry defect has a great deal whit bearing capacity of single-layer lattice shell stability by comparison.
