Influence of Refractory Metal Oxide Ultrafine Particles on the Structure and Mechanical Properties of High-Manganese Steel

Abstract:

The study examines the influence of the modifier based on refractory metal ultrafine oxides on the structure and properties of frogs made of 110Г13Л (Russian grade) high-manganese steel. It is established that the introduction of the modifying mixture leads to the samples grain size refining by 1.5 times, significant reduction in the amount of nonmetallic inclusions in the grain body and along its boundaries, and enhancement of mechanical properties.
