The Construction and Property Analysis of Bogie Wheel with Damping Structure

This paper introduces a new-type bogie wheel and its properties, i.e., bogie wheel with tubular spaced-damping, which has vibration-reducing buffering functions. The mechanic model of bogie wheel based on crawler bulldozer of some type was built. Matlab software was used to simulate such bogie wheel. The results show that bogie wheel with spaced-damping can effectively buffer the vibration on such bulldozer under different load cases.
