Design and Development of Warehouse Management System of Inland River Port

Abstract:

Inland river port has a unique advantage in the transport industry. In order to improve the efficiency of operation and management and optimize workflow, it is urgent to design and development of a suitable warehouse management system. Based on field research river port CX, a practical personalized warehouse management system is designed and developed. The practical operation shows that the warehouse management system runs normally and achieves the various basic operation functions of warehouse management. It includes receiving, warehousing, delivery, a library, direct shipment, transfer, query, user management, setting of basic information and other functions, can basically meet the company's individual business needs. In addition, the designs of various types of schedules also greatly help the company to conduct business operations. However, for the system to improve a grade, it is needed to improve appropriately in the follow-up.
