Denitrication of Nitrate Nitrogen in Groundwater by Biofilm-Electrode Reactor

Article Preview

Abstract:

The treatment of NO-3-N in groundwater by a biofilm-electrode reactor demonstrated that no matterthe temperature is excessive low or excessive high, the bacteria of denitrification will be controled;when the C/N rate is 1, which is lower than the theoretic value (1.07) the TN and TC can be removed together. The current experiment comfirmed that the current could improve the efficiency of the nitrate removal ratio, and the nitrate’s eliminating ratio relates to the current, The nitrate’s eliminating ratio will be improved when the HRT is longer.
