Analysis and Precaution of the Hard Spots in Die-Casting Parts of Aluminum Alloy

Article Preview

Abstract:

The hard spots and the hard part defects within the base body in the die-casting parts of aluminum alloy were observed and analyzed by means of photon microscope, electronic probe, micro hardness tester and other experimental methods. The causes led to the hard spots were discussed. The measures and solutions to control the raw materials of the alloy and to improve the smelting process were put forward.
