Prioritizing Design Configurations of Vertical Grinding Machines Considering Static and Dynamic Performances

Article Preview

Abstract:

A new method to evaluate design candidates in adaptable design of vertical grinding machines considering static and dynamic performances is introduced. According to adaptable design principles, the comprehensive evaluation method of dynamic and static performance was used to evaluate the value of structural change and performance improvement. Taking the redesign of vertical grinding machine for example, some design candidates were provided for its weak parts. Based on the evaluation method, the data on design candidates, which was derived from the static and dynamic analysis, was accurately analyzed and the design candidates were accurately and rapidly evaluated. Finally, the best configuration was selected.
