A Dynamic Collision Detection Algorithm Based on Bounding Box-Tree

Article Preview

Abstract:

To satisfy the real-time requirement of collision detection, we presented a dynamic collision detection algorithm based on bounding box-tree. The algorithm had a high detection rate through the establishment of multi-level priority policy when the objects were in the collision state or non-collision state. And it can provide the dynamic spatial and temporal information including collision parts, collision level and the relative speed. The algorithm well adapted to the needs of the dynamic collision detection, and experiments showed that the algorithm greatly improved the efficiency of detection
