Abstract:

Supply chain emergencies (SCE) are a kind of emergencies in the operation of supply chain, with the features of sudden-breaking, wide-impacting, serious-effecting and etc. In order to find out the inner regulation of SCE, this paper, using the method of statistical analysis, sums up the connotation of SCE and puts forward the characteristics system of SCE on the basis of the collected 243 (from the year of 1988 to 2009) SCE cases,. The characteristics system of SCE is composed of fundamental attributes, general characteristics, main characteristics, secondary characteristics and corrective measures. As the characteristics system of SCE is concluded from a lot of actual SCE cases, the conclusion is very representative.
