Abstract:

The state-owned and state-holding industrial enterprises play an important role in the process of China's industrial and economic development. Since 1998, China's industrial economy successfully resisted the effect of economic crisis in Southeast Asia, and maintained a good momentum of development, but the development of regional industrial enterprises in China still exists certain fluctuation and unbalanced characteristics. In order to measure and analysis the overall situation of China's industrial enterprises, this paper presents an evaluation method for the economic benefit of industrial enterprise based on panel data. Comparing with the data in 2008, we measure and analyze the economic situation of the state-owned and state-holding industrial enterprises in China's 31 provinces from 1998 to 2008, and analyze the overall situation and future trends of China's industrial enterprises.
