An Interpolation-Based Fuzzy Controller for Load Control of Ball Mill Pulverizing System

For ball mill pulverizing system is one of important assistant equipment of a thermal power plant and has high energy consumption, an interpolation-based fuzzy controller for load control of ball mill pulverizing system is proposed in the paper. The proposed controller is based on fuzzy control strategy and the Newton interpolation algorithm is adopted to improve the control precision. Moreover, the proposed controller obtains the final output according to the interpolation calculation of the neighboring antecedents of the observation with considering the distance between the observation and its neighboring antecedents. Experiments results verify that the proposed controller could realize the load control of the ball mill pulverizing system effectively and has higher control quality.
