Experimental Study on the Blending of EPDM/R-EPDM

Abstract:

The mechanical properties of EPDM/R-EPDM blending was investigated. Effect of the blending ratio, amount of DCP and silica and the curing temperature of EPDM/R-EPDM blend was discussed respectively. The results showed that each factor of the formulation has an optimum value or range. Part of EPDM can completely replaced by R-EPDM, and the mechanical properties can meet the product requirements.
