The Development and Innovation of Yunnan Clay Handicraft Base on the FreeForm System

Abstract:

Yunnan Clay handicraft is one of the treasures in Chinese ethnic cultural heritage. It is of great value to inherit and innovate the study. This article first introduces the basic principles and application methods of FreeForm, then takes Tile cat for instance to present the detail designing process using FreeForm, next discusses the how to resolve the peculiarity of developing Yunnan Clay handicraft, such as nationality, artistic quality, personalization of consumer, and last demostrates the great role FreeForm plays in the Yunnan Clay handicraft’s advance.
