The Space Design of Modern Villa With Reference to Traditional Residential Culture

Abstract:

Through an analysis of the domestic villa design with traditional residential culture for reference, as well as the analysis of the Shanghai Nine Halls villa as an example, it is suggested that the traditional Chinese elements be expressed in the most abstract form. Furthermore, the characteristics of the layout of traditional Chinese mansion and how to apply them in villa design are summarized.
