Study on the Design of Layout of an Automobile Factory Based on SLP

Abstract:

The method of SLP has been applied for new layout planning example of an automobile company. In this case, the related graphics have been used to illuminate the logistics and non-logistics relationships of every workshop to get the integrating relationships of workshops and preliminary plans. An improvement scheme is proposed after analyzing the two preliminary plans with logistics efficiency, space utilization, management conveniences, the cost, etc. Through this scheme, we can succeed with the reasonable layout.
