The Development of Friction Material Tester with Adjustable Speed and Pressure

Abstract:

In this paper, according to the Chase tester and applying the innovative thinking, the principle of the friction material tester with adjustable speed and pressure has been presented, and the tester has been designed and manufactured at the base of the friction tester of constant speed. This paper illustrates the working principle, composing parts and structure parameter of the tester in detail. A lot of repeatability tests have been done, as a result, it is demonstrated that the structure design of the new tester is reasonable and the performance is up to the mustard absolutely. With the application of the new tester at the expanded working condition, it has not only the function of the constant speed tester, but also the Chase tester. The new means used in the friction material test has been offered by the new tester, which is original in the world.
