The Preparation of Hybrid Solid Acids and its Catalytic Performance

Article Preview

Abstract:

The hybrid resin solid acids were prepared by using mesoporous material MCM-41 and porous activated carbon material as support, and their catalytic performance was investigated as well. Comparing with conventional acidic cation exchange resin Amberlyst 15, the hybrid resin prepared under the appropriate conditions show higher surface area and higher catalytic activity in the polymerization of tetrahydrofuran.
