Earthquake-Induced Economic Loss Estimation of a Reinforced Concrete Office Building in Kunming

Article Preview

Abstract:

Economic loss estimation is one of the important compositions of performance-based assessment methodology. Component-based economic loss estimation method is used to assess the expected economic losses of an office building in the high earthquake hazard city of China—Kunming. The analysis result shows that the loss situation of the building in Kunming is generally tolerable.
