Abstract: Having been coated, the surface unevenness and pores on paper were covered by a coating layer composed of fine particles and binders, which can absorb ink well, thereby a good uniformity and smoothness of paper could be obtained, consequently, the reproducing capability for printing dot and good whiteness, gloss and opacity can be improved. In theory, the ink rub resistance for coated paper print is mainly affected by the ink absorbance property of paper, printing conditions, ink components, rub medium and so on. In this study, seven different kinds of coated papers, the viscosities of the inks were adjusted with a viscosity adjusting agent, and then the prints were prepared by proofing with the ink with different viscosities. After drying, the prints were used for rub testing. The impact of the basic properties of coated paper and the content of reducer in inks on rub resistance were discussed on the basis of a comparative analysis of the experimental data. Printing color density loss rate and print color difference were exploited in this paper to characterize the ink rub resistance for coated paper prints. In this study, it was found that ink rub resistance was mainly influenced by ink absorbency and smoothness of the paper. Under the similar conditions, the color density of coated paper print decreases with the rub strength increasing, color difference increased gradually, but not linearly. With the increase of ink viscosity reducer content, printing density loss rates as well as color difference changed, but not be linearly.

Abstract: In order to study the human color vision characteristics, the small color-difference discrimination threshold experiment at the 17 basic CIE color centers of high range of gloss color printed samples. A panel of 10 observers with normal color vision performed the visual assessment to 510 pairs of samples using admissibility method. The evaluation data of visual color-difference were obtained in CIELAB color space. The detailed comparision indicated that the data were used evaluate the four common color-difference formula, CIELAB, CIE94, CMC and CIEDE2000. The detailed analysis indicated that CIELAB recommended by CIE Performanced the best among the four modern color difference. For predicting very small color datas. The experimental data provides references for the improvement of uniform color space and color-difference formula.

Abstract: Using Canon the ip 4760 inkjet proofing to print on five kind of different paper, analyzes the effects of the paper performance on color reproduction of inkjet proofing , base on color error, gray, color efficiency, color purity and color gamut range. The research indicated that the paper which has high brightness and smoothness, obtained better coloring effects and greater color gamut range.

Abstract: Packaging reduction is the important way of green package implementation. Paper analysis the packaging reduction status at home and abroad, then raises ways and countermeasures of realizing packaging reduction such as less thickness technology, the reduction of packaging layers and volume, packaging structure optimization, material selected lighter, the structure of packaging vessel optimal designing and containerization. At the same time, paper suggests that the designer should pay attention to the balance between packaging reduction and product recycling and bring forward the idea that there must be high and new technology and laws which are to promote the development of the reduction.

Abstract: Low carbon and environment friendly are the two development trends of green printing and packaging industries, and also are the inherent requirement of implementation of China’s energy saving policy. Recently, the calculation of carbon footprint on packaging has been a focus, and it is expected to be an evaluating index to estimate global greenhouse gas emissions. The rapid development of China’s beer industry has brought a series of environmental problems, such as the large consumption of resources and the heavy burden to the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the research on the carbon emissions of beer packaging. In this work, glass brewage packaging vessel was selected as researching object, its carbon emissions were investigated by mixed LCA method. Through the relevant carbon emissions research of the processes during the whole life cycle including raw materials’ production, packaging process, transportation, consumption, recycling and so on, the carbon footprint on glass brewage packaging vessel were calculated. With the comparison and analysis, some advices were given to reduce carbon emissions for beer packaging. The result provides a case support for energy conservation in the field of green packaging.

Abstract: For the consideration of energy shortage, people are paying more attention on recycling waste packaging and looking for alternatives on reusing techniques. This paper briefly introduced the recycling of house refuse, thus discussed the sorting technology of waste packaging polymers, meanwhile, it is an analysis about the technology of waste packaging polymers.

Abstract: To monitoring the ozone concentration in the atmosphere of the printing process, a compact ozone monitor was developed. The compact ozone monitor is consisting of a low pressure mercury capillary lamp and semiconductor photo detectors and one single (28cm) optical cell. The second UV-detector was introduced to improve the resolution and stability of the instrument. The ozone monitor with compact size and simple structure features good linearity, repeatability, and very good selectivity.

Abstract: Ethylene is plant hormones, which can promote postharvest fruit mature and age rotten. In fresh-keeping packaging of fruit and vegetable to achieve safety packaging and timely remove ethylene in the wrapper and to extend shelf life, this study were prepared by melting blend weight ratio of zeolite and LDPE were 0 / 100, 2 / 100, 4 / 100, 6 / 100, 8 / 100, five different blending film, and the rub resistance and tensile properties, DSC thermodynamic performance, blocking properties and adsorption performance of ethylene gases of these five kinds of film are studied. With the increase of the content of zeolite the friction coefficient and the tensile strength of the Blend film first increased and then decreased. DSC differential thermal analysis showed that the addition of the zeolite does not have effect on the thermal stability of the blend film. but with the increase of the zeolite content , the crystallinity of the film is reduced ,and the barrier property is declined.

Abstract: With the increasing demands for environmental requirements in printing industry, environmental protection material for coating film is also set forth requirements. The pre-glued laminting film is used more and more widely due to the simple laminating operations, energy consumption, low pollution, high overall efficiency. In this work, the impact was investigated experimentally of the printed ink surface conditions including the thickness of ink, ink emulsification, ink viscosity, ink drying time on the laminating quality. The tested samples were obtained using printability tester on the different printing conditions, then the samples were laminated using the laminating machine to obtain the sample of laminated film. In order to evaluate laminating quality, using universal tester the laminating strength were measured for samples. The tested results show that the surface of the ink printed has different degrees of impact on laminating quality.
