Remote Video Monitoring and Controling System Based on Web Services

Abstract:

The capabilities of 3G network are steadily increasing and provide the great flexibility of remote mointor and surveillance while being mobile. We propose the use of Web services in our system in order to solve interoperability issues between the stationary mointor center and moving client. so that the remote monitoring and controling can be carrid out by using the video carema and infrared transceiver according to the user's instructions. To explore this paradigm and to gain an understanding of these issues, we have implemented a Smart Home System where the householders can can control the electrical appliances and have real-time view in their home by using their mobile phone.
