Abstract: This paper aims to implement an distributed intelligent video analysis system based on TI multimedia Digital Signal Processor (DSP) TMS320DM642, at the same time, the algorithm optimization is also described. The intelligent video analysis system we proposed provides users with fast and precise video analysis services. The video image is transmitted to the image processing board by analog channels and IP cameras, then the DSP processing the video flow. In this system, target detection, segmentation, feature extraction, alarm and automatic tracking can be implemented. In this system, several optimization techniques are also used in algorithms, including the algorithm level optimization (ALO), the program level optimization (PLO) and the instruction level optimization (ILO). Experimental results show the exellent result in reducing the CPU load.

Abstract: The Supervisory Information System (SIS) [1]is widely installed in power plant of more than 300MW. Its massive data contains valuable information and resources which requires further excavation. In this paper a way of working conditions analysis based on cluster-based data mining algorithm is explored and experimented to SIS. The results illustrate that the way can identify and analyze the working conditions very well.

Abstract: Analyzed the sediment-transport process in high sediment-laden river, the new concept and calculating method for sediment-transport water volume are proposed. Based on field data of sediment and water volume in the Lower Yellow River from 1950 to 2000, the sediment-transport water volume and unit sediment-transport water volume in LYR are calculated. Meanwhile, relations between them and influencing factors are confirmed to calculate efficient sediment-transport water volume after construction of the Xiaolangdi reservoir. Results gained from these functions are consistent well with the facts of real water-sediment regulation in LYR.

Abstract: With the development of the economy, human activities have more and more effects on natural environment. The large water conservancy and hydropower projects caused great multi-aspect influences on the environmental changes. The unreasonable activities of mankind in water resources exploitation have deteriorated the natural environment, intensifying the conflicts between human beings and the nature. Environment and natural disasters have brought forward rigorous challenge on the survival and development of the mankind. The concept of environmental variation is proposed in analyzing the processes of environmental change, and the reparation methods for the river environment variation have been stated as well. Styles of river environmental variation can be classified according to characteristics of the river and of human activities. The characteristics and the consequences of the environmental variation in the estuary of Yellow River are analyzed, so have the reparation methods. With the development of the economy, the human activities have more and more effects on natural environment. The large Water Conservancy and Hydropower Projects, such as the big-dam-building on the river, the water-transferring project, the water resources-exploiting project, and the sewage-discharge project, etc., have caused great multi-aspect influences on the environmental changes. The unreasonable activities of mankind in water resources exploitation have deteriorated the natural environment, intensifying the conflicts between the human beings and the nature. Environment and natural disasters have brought forward rigorous challenge on the survival and development of the mankind. Some abnormal environmental changes (Environment Variation) can be observed in rivers, influencing our life greatly, especially the environmental variation in the mouth of Yellow River.

Abstract: In this paper, the solution of three-dimensional packing problem by using HR algorithm and the process is proposed based on the principle of a detailed analysis of three-dimensional packing problem. In the simulation, we analyze and compare the effect of HR, GA+HR, Bischoff and ALIM algorithm, the results shows that HR runs fast, but the space utilization is low.

Abstract: IHR was proposed in this paper based on HR algorithm which defines reference rectangle and binding layer. It finds the best solution and the best combination of layers through finding all the binding layers and calculating the solution of each combination of layers. Experimental results show that the IHR algorithm in two-dimensional packing problem is better than the HR algorithm, especially for large quantity of data test problem.

Abstract: Processing the matrix signals of vector hydrophone was critical to the research on engineering application of vector matrix. However, such processing required massive computation. Accordingly, a vector matrix based modification of MUSIC algorithm was introduced to solve such issue. The said modification lowered computation amount by applying the Wiener Filter in MUSIC algorithm to skip decomposition of eigenvalues. The method of vector hydrophone Uniform Linear Array (ULA) was adopted to test the performance of the modified algorithm. The computer simulated outcome has verified the effectiveness of such modified MUSIC algorithm, showing that the modified MUSIC algorithm can clearly distinguish the coherent signals, and is superior to the original music algorithm.

Abstract: Three dimensional finite element models were created utilizing APDL (ANSYS Parametric Design Language) for typical multi-chip BGAP (Ball Grid Array Packages) with different sizes to analyze the structure stress and strain when loading steady thermal loads upon them. Subsequently an improved modeling approach including equivalent beam and critical solder ball joint for simplification was studied and introduced. The Darveaux method based on plastic deformation energy accumulation for predicting fatigue life of solder ball joint under thermal cyclic loading was applied to the improved model for calculation, and effects of main design parameters upon fatigue life were studied accordingly. The numerical results reflected the stress distribution and varying traits of the package, compare of results between improved model and detailed model indicates that the simplified modeling method is quite effective and available for different types of analysis. Methods and results of this paper are of certain reference value for the design and optimization for similar kind of packages.

Abstract: This paper first introduces definition and cause for congestion control as well as TCP/IP congestion control mechanism, focusing on introducing active queue management arithmetic in IP congestion control mechanism, and points out its important function in congestion control. The method of active queue management arithmetic which solves full queue of routers is dropping arrived data packets before the queue is full so that end-note is able to respond before the queue overflows, avoiding the actual occurrence of congestion. RED arithmetic is a famous AQM arithmetic and congestion control based on control theory has become a new research focus.

Abstract: This paper constructed a competitiveness evaluation model and applied this model to the practice of Xiqiao textile cluster. The research respectively carried out competitiveness measurement, evaluation and comparison Xiqiao textile clusters competitiveness on prior and later stage of innovation upgrading. The conclusion revealed the impact of innovation upgrading on competitive advantge of Xiqiao textile cluster.
