An Automatic Information Extraction Method Based on the Characteristics of Patent

Abstract:

As a huge knowledge base, patent, including a mass of invention information, has the power of balance in product innovation. Based on the fact that some fixed phrases are included in the patent, e.g.” the existing technical problems”,” the advantage of the invention”, this paper codes these phrases and programs with related software to realize extracting information from the patent’s background, technical proposal, advantage and so on automatically. At last, an application of the method is listed to show detailed process.
