Abstract: In the study, based on existing shells, clam shells for the study to focus on its combination of strength and deformation characteristics were investigated. Analysis of the microstructure on the mechanical properties of clam shells, aragonite sheet comparison between the critical load Lc1 and the prismatic layer of aragonite layer between the critical load Lc2 changes, discussed the critical load overall mechanical properties of materials influence. The results showed that, vertical clam shell when the growth surface can carry the load the maximum stress is mainly concentrated in about 55MPa. Along the growth direction of the load, the maximum stress range between 48.5MPa-61MPa, as opposed to vertical loading and stability. Compressed prismatic layer and nacreous layer of the maximum intensity was significantly higher than the overall compressive strength, maximum strength of layered compression is about 2 times the overall compressive strength, direction perpendicular to the surface when the load curve showed the characteristics of ceramics. Clam shell aragonite between the critical load for the chip 90N, prismatic layer and nacreous layer between the critical load of 120N. In this process, the emergence of brittle fracture characteristics of ceramics, and when the nacre is broken, there was even a class of metal material slippage.

Abstract: The deep transverse metatarsal ligaments (DTML) play an important role in stabilizing the metatarsal bones and manipulating foot transverse arch deformation. However, the biomechanical research about DTML in the foot maneuver is quite few. Due to the difficulties and lack of better measurement technology for these ligaments experimental monitor, the load transfer mechanism and internal stress state also hadn’t been well addressed. The purpose of this study was to develop a detailing foot finite element model including DTML tissues, to investigate the mechanical response of DTML during the landing condition. The DTML was considered as hyperelastic material model was used to represent the nonlinear and nearly incompressible nature of the ligament tissue. From the simulation results, it is clearly to find that the peak maiximal principal stress of DTML was between the third and fourth metatarsals. Meanwhile, it seems the DTML in the middle position experienced higher tension than the sides DTML.

Abstract: The micro textures in the foot surface of the animals such as locust and tree frog have been analyzed with the bionic tribology and several kinds of the convex-hull-typed bionic driving drums are designed. According to the friction mechanism of the rubber material and the simulation results by the software ANSYS, the increasing friction mechanism of the convex-hull-typed bionic driving drum is analyzed. When the convex-hull-typed bionic driving drum contacts with the rubber belt, besides the sliding friction force, the friction force between them also includes the additional resistance resulted from the inlaying ‘meshing effect’ between the convex hulls and the rubber belt. The convex hulls on the surface diminish the contact area, so does the sliding friction force. Therefore, only if the additional resistance greater than the decrease of the sliding friction force, the convex-hull-typed bionic surface can increase the friction force. The dynamic tension measuring system of the belt conveyor is designed and manufactured to measure the friction coefficient between the belt and the driving drum. The experiment results prove that the convex-hull-typed bionic driving drums that meet the certain conditions have the increasing friction effect. The research achievement can be used in many situations which need increase the friction force.

Abstract: The surface texture of polishing pad is a key factor which determines the performance of polishing pad, and by altering the geometrical pattern of polishing pad surface, the surface texture of polished workpiece can be improved. In this paper, based on phyllotaxis theory in biology, the polishing pad with phyllotactic pattern has been designed and the effects of phyllotactic parameters on the surface texture of polishing pad have been discussed. Lastly, the polishing pads with phyllotactic pattern have been made with lithography and composite plating technology, and the influence of correlative plating parameters on plated coating have been investigated. The results indicated that the abrasive grain block density increase with the increasing of the diameter D of abrasive grain block and the decreasing of phyllotactic coefficient k, and the quality of electroplating is optimal when current density is 1A/dm2 and temperature is 30°C.

Abstract: Abstract Objective To analyze the relationship between knee and ankle, and provide the design of the intelligent prostheses with the theory foundation. Method The gait of 30 healthy young people walking at fast, normal, and low speeds separately were detected by 3D gait analysis sysytem, and the gait data were investigated through BP Network. Result The kinematic information of the ankle could get from the knee through BP Network which could study the relationship well. Conclusion The control strategy could be used on the intelligent prostheses according that the kinematic information of the ankle could be forecasted from the knee.

Abstract: The influence of the different airway structure on mixing time of molten steel are studied through using water model experiments. The bubble volume and velocity have been investigated through the PIV for different airway structure in the flow of 1m3/h. Results showed that with the slit distribution same, the smaller the slit width, the greater the volume percentage of the large bubbles and the average velocity of the bubbles in rising, but the shorter the mixing time. Reduce the number of the slit can lead to the volume percentage of the large bubbles and the average velocity of the bubbles in rising decreases, the mixing time extended, and it is more obvious to the mixing time to reduce the number of the inner slit. Inflatable volume<1.1m3/h, with the slit in the outer ring only and the number of slit same, the volume percentage and the average velocity of the large bubbles in rising is larger, the mixing time is reduced. Inflatable volume≥1.1m3/h, the slit evenly distribution is better for mixing.

Abstract: This article presents a flow measurement sampling method based on the application group, which identify the received message and then trasmit the identified packets to the corresponding application packet sample space, after this sampling each space packet independently. Thus to ensure the network to restore the situation in the application of fine-grained has lower error rate, thereby reducing the distortion of the application distribution.

Abstract: Cloud manufacturing (CMfg) is a new service-oriented, highly efficient, lowly consumption knowledge based, and intelligent networked manufacturing model. It aims to achieve on-demand use, dynamic collaborative work, and circulation of manufacturing resources and manufacturing capability(MC). In order to achieve the above goal proposed, how to realize the formal description of MC is the key point in CMfg. This paper emphasizes the multi-dimensional information model of MC based on knowledge. According to the requirement and characteristics of manufacturing, the concept and connotation of MC were presented firstly in this paper, then the multi-dimension information model for MC was proposed based on knowledge, it contains three dimensions, such as elements dimension, relationship dimension, evaluation dimension.

Abstract: Supplier selection, which is the first step of the network manufacturing, is evaluated as a critical factor for the manufacturing enterprise desiring to be successful in nowadays competition conditions. In network manufacturing, we first construct manufacturing process, and then select suitable suppliers. No matter suppliers provide components or services, we can unified consider they are all some types of manufacturing services. It’s very familiar with service composition, so we introduce marketing policy based service composition model to resolve supplier selection problem in network manufacturing. With the scope of this paper, we categorize manufacturing supplier selection constraints into three groups based on QoS, and propose a simple business constraint service composition model of marketing policy for supplier selection, which means that purchasers can get better manufacturing services from this model by choosing most suitable suppliers.
