Abstract: The microstructure and the mechanical properties of welding joint with the material of TA2 have been studied in this paper with the specimens made with the method of argon-arc welding. The microhardness of the welding joint has been compared with the hardness in the same position of the weld joint after annealing. Conclusions have been obtained as follows: The organizations of the welding joint include base material, recrystallization zone, overheated area, fusion zone and the weld zone; the hardness tendency of the weld joint is depicted as M-shape with the softest point located at the center, and the hardest is located at the overheated zone; the annealing treatment can enhance the weld joint hardness mainly at the center, and the hardness of other zones change little.

Abstract: When a re-circulating mechanism is in different position, the force exerted on a ball that is into and out of the re-circulating mechanism is different, on which a model of friction torque fluctuation at different position is set up. The friction torque fluctuation varying with the different rotation rate of a ball screw is discussed. The analysis shows that a critical rate exists at different position and a critical preload is likely to occur. The tendency of a friction torque fluctuation is same while the critical rate is different. In the end, the result is verified by experiment.

Abstract: With the shortening of product life cycle, and the constant increasing of End-of-life Electromechanical Products, the processing of waste products appears especially important and urgent. This paper, based on an existing recycle model, has established an economic evaluation model of end-of-life electromechanical products. Based on the collection of a large amount of data and tests, the research and evaluation of the engine has proved it is suitability for remanufacturing.

Abstract: The dehydrationrate of Daqing crude oil was not stable and the amount of chemical demulsifier used too much, which caused serious environmental pollution and enlarged the difficulty of dealing with crude oil. Therefore, PRJ-1 bio-demulsifier was selected to combine with chemical demulsifiers SP-169 and GT-D01, respectively, to resolve the crude oil emulsion of Daqing. The results showed that PRJ-1 can combine with SP-169 efficiently. The demulsification efficiency was high and dehydrated water was clear. However, the demulsification efficiency increased a little with GD-D01. The study shows that efficient synergetic effect between PRJ-1 and SP-169 was confirmed. The suitable proportionality of combinational demulsifier is 1:1 and the demulsifying effect can meet requirement of oilfield demulsifiers currently.

Abstract: Ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO) random copolymer was synthesized with 1,2-propanediol as initiator, then the end-capping process was carried out by adding various alkyl halides and potassium hydroxide (KOH) to produce the double alkyl EO/PO random copolyethers. The factors effecting alkyl-capping rate were discussed. The results showed that when the molar ratio of hydroxyl group/KOH/1-bromobutane was 1/1.9/1.9, reacting time 6.5 hr and reacting temperature 50°C, the alkyl-capping rate could reach over 80%. The end-capping rate would also increase with the increasing content of ethylene oxide in the random polyether, and the end-capping rate of the EO/PO/EO block-polyether was high than that of the random polyether with same molecular weight. Instead of 1-bromobutane, ethyl bromide promised a higher whereas chloralkane gave a lower end-capping rate respectively.

Abstract: Use the method of graft copolymerization to prepare a perfluorinated coating with low surface energy. It is combined with glass surface by chemical bond. The coating surface has the Nanoscale roughness of hydrophilic and oleophobic characteristics. Oil droplets are placed on the perfluorinated coating surface followed by water, and removed from the surface with water. So, the perfluorinated coating surface has the properties of self-cleaning

Abstract: Safe operation of transport system depends on right examination of their technical conditions and right operating measures thereof. The conventional methods based on magnetic test for steel-cord conveyor belt inspection have many limitations. So a new detection method which is based on both magnetic method and X-ray digital imaging technology is used. This paper introduces the key techniques and control scheme of the detection system. Five main steps, including self-diagnosis, hardware test, magnetic inspection, radiographic inspection and diagnosis, are discussed in detail. The system provides a preventive maintenance program which can achieve high precision for it uses image analysis techniques to process digital radiography images to identify gravity of defects.

Abstract: Diamond is a promising material especially applied in advanced machining tools, wear-resistant coatings, and the EPD technique should provide a simple method to develop hard coatings for precision machining tools or wear-resistant parts. Therefore, it is useful to research electrophoretic deposition characteristics of diamond powder itself, including the impact of adding ions on direction of EPD especially. In this paper, the effects of suspension concentration and applied voltage, deposition time, and added Ca2+ or Al3+ ions on electrophoretic characteristics of ultra-fine diamond powder were discussed, and electrophoretic deposition (EPD) parameters were optimized by a trial-and-error approach. The results show that smooth, uniform and dense coatings of diamond were obtained under suspension concentration of 1%-1.5% and applied voltage of 30-70 V. The thickness of diamond coating can be controlled by adjusting deposition time under constant voltage and suspension concentration. If deposition direction changed, the appropriate concentration of added Ca2 + and Al3 +, respectively, is in the range of 0.005% to 0.01% and 0.05% to 0.10%.
