Abstract: Based on indoor thermal environment test and questionnaire surveys, the paper studies on thermal insulation capacity and indoor thermal environment of the vernacular dwellings in Wei-he Plain of Shaanxi Province, China, and analyses their heating methods and application status. Besides, the popularity of sustainable techniques in local area has been evaluated and summarized. Moreover, the paper discusses the present problems in local indoor thermal environment and energy-saving status.

Abstract: A weathering resistance test was made to exterior wall external insulation systems with foamed glass decorated with coating and facing brick in this paper. The results show that the change of ambient temperature has large effect on the external insulation systems. Because of the phenomenon of stress concentration, there are many cracks in the windows position. On the other hand, the system decorated with facing brick has much less cracks than the system with coating, and its surface layer has no hollowing. So from the perspective of weathering resistance, the exterior wall external insulation systems with foamed glass decorated with facing brick is better than the system decorated with coating.

Abstract: Method of piles thrusted-expanded with column-hammer is a ground treatment method which has Chinese characteristics. In order to study the consolidating mechanism of the ground treatment method, indoor model tests of thrusting hole and tamping pile are carried on and the consolidating mechanism is studied. At the same time, the influence factors of thrusting hole and tamping pile, such as the different tamping energy and diameter of column-hammer, are analyzed. The analysis results indicate that thrusting hole by column-hammer has the effect of lateral compacting and strongly tamping at the bottom of hole. In the tamping piles by column-hammer, the effect of expanding the bottom of pile and secondary compaction are very great. The conclusions will provide the technology basis for the optimizing the design of the ground treatment method.

Abstract: Zinc oxide nanoparticles was synthesized by microwave decomposition of zinc acetate precursor. Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was immobilized on nano-ZnO. The catalytic activity, physical, and chemical properties of immobilized HRP as well as the interaction between HRP and nano-ZnO was studied. The Nano-ZnO immobilized HRP showed a better property in the thermostability, active pH stability. The Nano-ZnO is more effective than free HRP in the removal of many phenolic compounds. The results show that nano-ZnO is strong functional materials for envrionment protection.

Abstract: According to the data of concrete strength in different circulation, this paper put forward a idea of concrete strength loss coefficient and established a forecast model of concrete life by the gray system theory. As a result, it shows that the relativity and definition are better between the model with test data. This model can be used to forecast the life of concrete eroded by seawater.

Abstract: ZnF2 nano-particles were prepared by electrochemical anodization method at room temperature. Zn foil acted as anode and Pb sheet served as cathode, and the complex solution of NH4F-H2O2-C2H5OH was used as electrolyte. The morphology, composition and crystalline structure of the as-prepared product were characterized by SEM, EDS and XRD techniques. The results showed that the product was rhombic nano-particles with the length of 50-200nm and the width of 50-100nm, the crystalline structure of the product was ZnF2 and ZnO, and the ZnF2 was the dominant component. Effects of NH4F concentration, applied voltage and anodization time on the morphology of the product were investigated.

Abstract: This paper investigated the influence of Rediset on the properties of base bitumen. The warm mix bitumen binder were produced by mixing a standard 40/60 pen bitumen with Rediset at fixed two proportions. The dynamic viscosity behaviour of the samples have been determined using dynamic shear rheometer with a cone and a fixed plate with a diameter of 25mm. The thermal stability of the Rediset was characterized and the result indicate that the physicochemical properties of Rediest are stable bellow 150°C. The dynamic viscosity result shows that the addition of Rediset can affect the flow behavior of the bitumen. Rediset decreases the viscosity of the binders, especially at the range of 100°C~150°C. The contribution of Rediset to the change of viscosity became less with the temperature increasing from 100°C to 150°C.

Abstract: This paper described the application of steel tube confined concrete in the Service Guarantee Integration Building of Jingya restaurant group which is affiliated to Administration office of Arms Department of the General Staff of PLA. It was proposed that the concrete mix proportion should meet high-flowability, high-strength, high stability, high-density and low shrinkage. This research provides a practical basis for future study and application of high-throwing, self-compacting concrete confined by steel tube.
