Abstract: To analyze the function demand for the rehabilitation aids on the basis of market research to the disabled. A novel multi-functional rehabilitation aid is developed based on the concept of modular design, which could aid the disabled to accomplish the daily living life care and rehabilitation training of the lower limbs. According to their real daily life needs and economic ability, combination with different modules could meet their various functional requirements and adapt to the market demands constantly.

Abstract: To make knowledge retrieval better aid designers for product creative design, according to the analysis of the characteristics of various stages of product design, the knowledge was classified. Combined with the characteristics of knowledge resources, aiming at new type, improving type and tracking type, this paper proposed three knowledge retrieval strategies, including function solution, technical solution, special solution, and formed a knowledge retrieval framework. According to the cognitive process of conceptual design, a knowledge retrieval application was discussed.

Abstract: Gears are fundamental machine elements that are widely used in most types of machinery to transmit power and/or motion from one shaft to another at a constant angular velocity. They are used in many fields and under a wide range of conditions, from watches and instruments to the heaviest and most powerful machinery. A peculiar aspect of the considered optimization problem is the presence of many design constraints. To solve this special problem the original design variable domain has been modified according to the constraints prior to the global approximation step, to find the actual feasible design variable domain.

Abstract: Multimedia Computer Assisted Learning which is made up of the modern multimedia applications and network-support technology can offer vigorous and vivid learning and teaching environment. A decade ago, the use of computers in the language classroom was only concern to a number of specialists and experts; however, the developments of these things have resulted in the increased use of multimedia applications for education and the advent of multimedia usages. With the emergency of multimedia usages in vocational schools, the role of computers becomes an important issue meeting a large number of teachers all over the world.

Abstract: The technology of infrared nondestructive testing is an important method to detect where the defect is, and its order of severity. In pulse heating stage, obviously there is also temperature difference between defect area and no defect area. So this paper uses temperature difference between defect area and no defect area in the pulse heating stage, according to 1-D transient heat conduction model of finite thickness defect slab under Neumann boundary condition and heat conduction equation, builds a least-square formula to inverse the depth of defect area in the defect slab with evolution algorithm. The results show that this evolutionary algorithm is reliable, and it has only small errors, and is especially suitable for detecting large defect area. To do the more accurate detection, it still needs to find a new data processing method for infrared nondestructive testing from starting with three-dimensional heat conduction inverse problem.

Abstract: Hub cutter is a new kind of plant cutters, with a good capability of anti-blocking and a good stability of operating performance. Hub cutter was simulated by using commercial code FLUENT in order to get the dynamic pressure and integrative data about the field of dynamic pressure. The results showed that the change of surface pressure on the hub cutter is large. And the pressure side received large impact force. It provides a theoretical basis for the design of pressure side and suction side of hub cutter. The study shows that using FLUENT simulation results to predict performance of hub cutter is feasible. The method can be applied in engineering practice and is an innovative design with FLUENT.

Abstract: Based on rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model, firing density model and ADAMS / Insight platform, the chamber pressure random of machine gun RCWS is studied by stochastic dynamics simulation of stochastic chamber pressure curve generated by the Monte-Carlo random generator and the internal ballistics module. It can provide theoretical guidance to the virtual fire accuracy of the machine gun RCWS.

Abstract: On the foundation of analysis on non-cylindrical spiral spring force state, stress status and corresponding formulas in various segments of spring wire are derived, therefore the concept of varying spring diameter is put forward. Taking oblate prism spiral spring as an example, variable diameter spiral spring and invariable diameter spiral spring are separately designed under the instructions of the concept. An simulation is designed to examine the characteristics of the two springs in strength, stiffness and fatigue. The result shows that: both kinds of springs can meet the design requirements in maximum work force and fatigue, but the new spring are significantly lighter compared with the traditional invariable diameter, and the mechanical properties of material of the new spring are more fully played. This concept can be widely used in various fields of machinery, such as aerospace, vehicle suspension and small arms, and it will have important significance in designing new spring of light-weight and high-reliability.

Abstract: Based on the experimental conditions of generation grinding of spiral bevel gear, the grinding orthogonal test design of L16(45) is made, and the results of grinding orthogonal test are obtained. On this basis, the range and variance analyses are carried out by using an integrated balance method, and the optimizing configuration of grinding process parameters of spiral bevel gear is obtained. The test regression models of three grinding evaluating indicators of spiral bevel gear, such as the grinding surface roughness Ra, metamorphic layer depth h and removal rate Zw, are set up by using a method of multivariate nonlinear least square. The maximal absolute value of relative error between computing values and testing ones is 18.41 percent by test validation, and this shows that the regression models are more effective. Through the test optimization of grinding surface performance, the value of grinding surface roughness Ra is more less 0.1μm than one of the normal grinding process, and other comprehensive performances are better. The pre-control measures of grinding process optimization of spiral bevel gear are also put forward. These provide a basis for the improvement of grinding surface quality of spiral bevel gear.

Abstract: Abstract. In the process of electromechanical products innovative design, a lot of domain knowledge is involved. Present method of knowledge classification and organization based on subjects has limited its integrated use. Thereby, a new method based on functional attributes of knowledge is proposed in this paper. Principles of clustering based on the characteristics of domain knowledge are also put forward. At last, sub-modules are further detailed and a tree of domain knowledge is formed. This method is conducive to knowledge reuse, update and retrieval, and lay a good foundation for the establishment of a database.
