Abstract: Natural gas hydrate in ocean bottom and permafrost is a great potential energy resource. Compared to fluids hydrocarbons (oil, water and gas) in conventional reservoir evaluation, natural gas hydrate exists in sedimentary formations in solid form, which should be reconsidered in its reservoir evaluation and global reserves assessment. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique plays an important role in natural gas hydrate reservoir evaluation. The recent applications of NMR logging in natural gas hydrate reservoir evaluation including formation porosity-permeability estimation, gas hydrate saturation estimation and growth habits prediction in rock pores are introduced. Finally, the potential combination application of downhole NMR 1H relaxation and 13C spectroscopy in natural gas hydrate reservoir evaluation model is also discussed.

Abstract: In this paper, an adaptive Fuzzy Cerebellar Model Articulation Controller (FCMAC) is proposed to control two-wheeled robot at upright position. The dynamical model of the robot, LEGO Mindstorms NXT, is derived from Lagrange of kinetic and potential energies. Based on the developed model, an adaptive FCMAC is then designed. Adaptation laws are derived from the Lyapunov stability analysis. According to the stability analysis, the developed FCMAC guarantees that the system tracking performance and the error convergence can be assured in the closed-loop system. Finally, to compare the system performances we apply the proposed FCMAC and the PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller to balance the two-wheeled robot.

Abstract: Core cracking and face/core separation (debonding) are common failure modes in foam cored sandwich structures, aluminum alloy foam sandwich is prepared in this experiment, shearing tests were conducted on precursor and sandwich panel specimens. Shearing test results showed if the porosity was not uniform and have super-big pores, the interface was not firmly;and porosity was uniform, so the bonding interface was tightly and under force the strength of aluminum sheet was lower than the foam core/aluminum sheet interface. Analysis the results fracture pattern of aluminum sheet/powders interface belongs to interface brittle debonding; and if the strength of pore wall was lower than aluminum face sheet, fracture pattern of foam core/aluminum sheet began ductile and transited to cleavages fracture.

The traditional Euclidean geometry theory can’t explain these phenomenon, must use projective geometry theory to solve. The actual motion of the mechanism is disproof in Euclidean geometry principle limitation. This paper introduces the required in projective geometry basic proof of principle, and applied to a specific problem.

Abstract: Loudness which is one of the psycho-acoustic metrics is an important parameter in the model of sound quality objective evaluation. In this paper, based on two standards, two computational procedures of loudness were programmed and verified respectively, and these verified results showed that the two computational procedures are stable and reliable. Based on these characteristics of specific loudness curve, control strategy which selectively attenuates the peak values of specific loudness is proposed to solve the problem of active noise control inside vehicle. A computer simulation with this strategy is conducted and the changes of specific loudness and loudness before and after active noise control are analyzed. The results indicate that it is significant to reduce the peak values of specific loudness by using this control strategy, and then the reduction in loudness of noise is up to 1.5 sones.

Abstract: In the solar air-conditioning system, it makes chilled water reduced to the lowest temperature in the night of the day without any form of energy consumption, and then makes use of water-cooled chillers of air conditioning to refrigerate further in the valley period of electricity consumptions. By doing this, it can improve the refrigeration coefficient of the air- conditioning system, and save energy and cost of electricity substantially. It will make the cost of solar air- conditioning lower than conventional air conditioning, and furthermore provides a broad way for the popularity of solar energy and solar air conditioning.

Abstract: This paper presents the effect of surface roughness on the performance characteristics of elastohydrodynamic lubrication with non-Newtonian fluid base on Carreau viscosity model in elliptical contact. The time independent modified Reynolds equation and elastic equation were formulated for compressible fluid. Perturbation method, Newton Raphson method and full adaptive multigrid method were implemented to obtain the film pressure, film thickness profiles and friction coefficient in the contact region at various amplitude of combined surface roughness, applied loads, speeds and elliptic ratio. Simulation results show surface roughness amplitude has significant affected the film pressure in the contact region. The minimum film thickness decreases but friction coefficient increases when the combined roughness and applied loads increases. The minimum film thickness and friction coefficient both increase as the relative velocity of the ball and the plate is increase. For increasing the elliptic ratio, the minimum film thickness increases but the friction coefficient decreases.

Abstract: For the kineto-static analysis of complex planar linkage, the procedure based on vector bond graph is proposed. The constraint force vectors at joints can be considered as unknown effort source vectors and added to the corresponding 0-junctions of the system vector bond graph model, most of the differential causalities in system vector bond graph model can be eliminated . In the case of mixed causality, the unified formulae of driving moment and constraint forces at joints are derived based on vector bond graph, which are easily derived on a computer in a complete form. As a result, the very difficult algebraic problem caused by differential causality and nonlinear junction structure can be overcome, and the automatic kineto-static analysis of complex planar linkage on a computer is realized. By a practical example, the validity of this procedure is illustrated.

Abstract: Investigation porous elastic filter material deep treatment of drinking water contamination removal in effect. The membrane separation system to meet the requirements of the feed water quality, in this paper the new type of porous elastic filter material compression filter technology and traditional quartz sand filter technology water depth contrast the treatment effect experimental study. The results showed that different compression ratio of porous elastic filter material to filter pollutants has good removal efficiency, and better than quartz sand. Porous elastic filter material compression ratio and turbidity, the average iron removal rate was significantly positive correlation. The compression ratio for 70% of the porous elastic filter material after filter, and the effluent turbidity of, iron, CODMn and DOC average concentration of were 0.35 NTU, 0.05, mg • L-1,1.73 mg • L-1 and the 1.48 mg • L-1; Basic meet the membrane separation system of the feed water quality requirements.
