Abstract: In this paper a blind source separation technique Joint Approximate Diagonalization of Eigen-matrices (JADE) is investigated to unmixing and multiple target detection for hyperspectral imagery data. Our targeted minerals are Alunite, Buddingtonite, Calcite and Kaolinite in ‘Cuprite’ scene data that has been widely used for research experiments in hyperspectral imagery. A comparative study is conducted to show the effectiveness of the JADE with Vertex Component Analysis. The results are evaluated with both full and reduced bands.

Abstract: Sodium titanate gels on the surface of titanium metal have been formed using sodium hydroxide solution and oxidised at 400°-800°C. The reaction sequence for these processes with increasing temperature is Ti → sodium titanate gel → crystalline sodium titanate gel → porous (top) and dense (bottom) anatase → porous (top) and dense (bottom) rutile. These samples subsequently were soaked in simulated body fluid in order to study the precipitation of hydroxyapatite in the absence and presence of long UV radiation, which has not been investigated before. One sample showed greatly enhanced hydroxyapatite deposition, this being the one oxidised at 400°C, consisting of small amounts of crystalline sodium titanate and anatase, and subjected to UV irradiation. More generally, enhancement of hydroxyapatite precipitation is observed in the presence of anatase and/or sodium titanate; suppression of hydroxyapatite precipitation is observed in the presence of gels and rutile. However, UV light with anatase enhanced precipitation while UV light with rutile suppressed it. This is attributed to the morphological effect of the larger grain of rutile compared to the smaller anatase.

Abstract: With the advance of computer technology, numerical simulations were widely used for designing wind turbine. Savonius rotor is a kind of drag type wind turbine often used for water pumping for its good torque performance. In this study, numerical computations were carried out based on three different turbulence models including Splart-Allaras (S-A) model, k-εmodel and k- ωmodel to compute the static torque performance at different attack angles. Flow fields around the Savonius rotor were obtained. Comparing the computation results with the experimental results, the effects of turbulence models on the static performances of the Savonius rotor were discussed. The simulation result based on k-ω model was in agreement with test data generally.

Abstract: Pierce the corporate veil rules together with the company's independent personality constitutes a complete, rigorous corporate system. Pierce the corporate veil rules as part of a corporate system, and improve its position in the supplement, which is the balance between corporate interests of shareholders and creditors of the company's results. Pierce the corporate veil rules apply to particular legal relationship, it is by denying the company's independent personality behind the company investigated for abuse of corporate personality and limited liability of shareholders independent of the liability of shareholders. Make up the deficiencies inherent in the corporate system to protect the legitimate interests of creditors of the company. Pierce the corporate veil in order to achieve the value of the rules of fairness and justice, our country should be based on the theory from abroad. With China's judicial practice, judicial interpretation and give full play to the role of a typical case, a reasonable allocation of the burden of proof. Prudential rules applicable to pierce the corporate veil and do advance prevention. Try to avoid piercing the corporate veil applies the rules to further improve the new company law in China under the rule of piercing the corporate veil.

Abstract: This paper has debated between fractional and two part models in the context of prepayment behaviour, applications where a large proportion of zero observations are typically found. The predictive capacity in this paper is to provider the direction of consideration and very good fit result to the behaviours of prepayment for bank. From the perspective of practitioners, it could point of view the characteristics of borrowers of each variable would seem to be choosing in this paper. This paper also provides the simply looking at the extent to which policy decision of bank conclusions would differ depending upon the characteristics of customers’ behaviour consideration.

Abstract: In this article, equations of motion of tilting vehicle system, considering the lateral displacement, roll angle and yaw angle of each wheelset, the lateral displacement, vertical displacement, roll angle and yaw angle of the truck frame and the car body, are derived. The tilting vehicle system is modeled by a tilting train system with 24 degree-of-freedom (24-DOF) system traveling on curved tracks. Considering the cross-wind forces acting on the car body in the lateral, vertical and roll directions, the influences of the vehicle speeds on derailment quotients are investigated. Additionally, the effects of the vehicle speeds on the derailment quotients are presented and compared with wind loads and the various tilting angles.

Abstract: This paper has proposed an optimization process with two phases to optimize suspension parameters of a high speed railway vehicle for advancing system’s robustness and performance. The vehicle’s nonlinear coupled differential equations of motion with fourteen degrees of freedom are created based on Kalker’s linear theory and the heuristic nonlinear creep model. The performance measure of the vehicle system is critical hunting speed, which is determined by Lyapunov’s indirect method. The first phase of optimization is to execute a set of experiments which is planned based on uniform design method. The second phase of optimization is to apply the Nelder-Mead Simplex method to exploit the best solution obtained in the first phase. Finally, the presented optimization process can effectively not only advance the performance of the vehicle system but also increase the performance’s robustness.

Abstract: Throughput of each production stage cannot meet the demand in the real production system because of the disruptions and interruptions of the production line for example break time and scrap. On the other hand, demand changes over time due to volume variation and product redesign as the customers’ needs are changing. This situation leads to planning and controlling under uncertain condition. This paper proposes a hybrid model of autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) and multiple linear regression (MLR) for estimating and modeling the random variables of production line in order to forecast the throughput in presence of production variations and demand fluctuation. The random variables under consideration of this study are demand, break-time, scrap, and lead-time. The random variables are formulated in the MLR model, where the mean absolute percentage of error (MAPE) was 2.53%. Further, nine ARIMA models with different parameters in MLR model are fitted to the data and compared by their MAPE. The best model with the lowest MAPE was when the ARIMA parameters set for p=1, d=0, and q=3. Finally the proposed model using ARIMA-MLR is formulated by MAPE of 1.55%.

Abstract: This paper proposes an effective and convenient mechanism to transform and utilize bio-mechanical energy to electrical energy by presenting a self-powered shoe-model in order to tap the energy obtained for charging mobile phone battery. While walking in general, negative work is done by every human being in every single step taken. This negative work can be converted into electrical energy using a dc machine. The resulting energy could serve as ancillary source of energy for charging the batteries. The proposed self-powered shoe-model contains a permanent magnet DC machine, rack and pinion section and a signal conditioning circuit for charging mobile phone battery. The designed shoe-model has been successfully tested on Li-ion battery of a mobile phone from a reputed brand.
