Abstract: The excavation blasting is required for the rock pit of a steel plant in Huangshi city. Due to the chimmey and pool of in-situ concrete foundation are close to the complex environment blasting area, the small hole bench blasting, hole by hole blasting technique were adopted, the reasonable network parameters and millisecond delay time were investigated. Meanwhile the blasting hole was covered for protection. It is shown that the proposed solution can decrease blasting vibration but also control the fly-rocks. The rock blasting effect is favorable and the blasting purpose is achieved.

Abstract: The working capacity of 13X zeolite was considerably reduced when feeding a vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) carbon capture process with a high (~10%) water humidity level gas stream. To effectively tackle the water issues in real flue gas and keep the capital costs at a economical level without adding any pre-drying equipment, multiple-layer VSA technology was investigated in this study. Three configurations of multi-layer experiments were designed and conducted: double layers with 13X and Sorbead, triple layers with LiX zeolite +13X+Sorbead and triple layers with 13X+Sorbead+ACF. Experimental results showed that the water front was successfully contained within the pre-layers at cyclic steady states. More importantly, our one-bed systematic cyclic experiments could concentrate CO2 from 12% to 61% with a CO2 recovery of 77% under the double-layer configuration. Meanwhile, as a comparison, the LiX triple-layer experiment yielded a good CO2 recovery of 81% and productivity of 0.0132 mol/(kg•h) under the same operational condition as double layers. The ACF triple-layer experiments illustrated that the water front was retained better than the double layer case due to the larger water adsorption capacity of ACF though a higher pressure drop was observed as result of tight packing.

Abstract: With the rapid development of GPU in recent years, CPU-GPU collaborative computing has become an important technique in scientific research. In this paper, we introduce a cluster system design which based on CPU-GPU collaborative computing environment. This system is based on Intel Embedded Star Platform, and we expand a Computing-Node for it by connecting to high-speed network. Through OpenMP and MPI mixed programming, we integrate different algorithms meeting with the scientific computing and application computing by Master/Worker model and a software system which is based on RIA (Rich Internet Applications). In order to achieve high performance, we used a combination of software and hardware technology. The performance results show that the programs built with hybrid programming model have good performance and scalability.

Abstract: Relationship between texture characteristics of laser speckle pattern and surface roughness of turning machinery metal surface was studied in this paper. Based on Wiener filter image processing technology, curve relationship between four texture feature parameters such as energy, entropy, contrast as well as correlation and roughness Ra before and after filtering was also established. Integrated texture feature method was used to analyze the change of each characteristic parameter and roughness Ra and obtain a relatively good curve. The results show that when roughness Ra is in the range of 0.8-6.3μm, energy, entropy and correlation are most suitable to represent surface roughness of turning machinery metal sample.

The research and analysis is the key function of LabVIEW software and has been detailed summarized. Finally, the author discussed the future development of LabVIEW software.

Abstract: To solve technical and economic evaluation in the design stage of energy-saving buildings, rank the rationality and economic performance of energy-saving technologies under limited condition and provide basis for the amendment and optimization of energy-saving building schemes, technical and economic evaluation model which is according to matrix evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process is put forward and is used in an project to verify its feasibility. This model chooses energy saving rate, renewable energy contribution rate, add capital ratio and payback period of investment as indexes to describe, explain and evaluate the energy-saving technologies. And this model which can truly realize energy saving in the initial design is well adapted.

Abstract: Current, overhaul equipments commonly used in vehicle maintenance have some disadvantages. How to design a diagnosis system easy to grasp and directly reflecting the cause of the failure has a strong value. This paper has designed a PC-based system for automotive electronic control system failure diagnosis. After the system inputs car output signal collected to the computer system, according to comparative analysis of the signal waveform by software, electronic control failure reasons can be diagnosed very conveniently.

Abstract: Automotive manufacturing has become less contained within an organization and more dispersed through outsourcing, the main challenge is that of ensuring quality adherence across the extended supply chain. This has the need for the large automakers to engage in greater collaboration in the design phase and provide visibility into internal operations. This paper discusses about the auto manufacture process flow and quality information classification in the four main manufacture processes. Due to global competition, companies have indeed emphasized that quality should have to be put in place, integrated into all aspects of products and services within their management system. Hence total quality management has become increasingly popular as one of the managerial devices in ensuring continuous improvement as to improve customer satisfaction and retention as well as to ensure its product or service quality. Importantly, employees are regarded as the most important entity in ensuring that total quality management can be carried out successfully in an organization.

Abstract: The addition of chopped carbon fiber will effect on the pavement performance of asphalt concrete and reinforce and crack-resistance the concrete. The type, length and mixture of pitch carbon fiber have a significant impact on chopped carbon fiber asphalt concrete. This article discusses the effect of carbon fiber on the Marshall of concrete short asphalt, visits the change of Marshall Index, chooses the best short-cut ratio of concrete with carbon fiber asphalt and asphalt and gives guidance to the design of chopped carbon fiber asphalt concrete and construction.
