Use Skill of External Memory Expansion for DSP of TMS320VC5409

Abstract:

This paper proposes the external data memory and program memory using skills for DSP of TMX320VC5409. Firstly, the memory allocation of TMX320VC5409 is described and the its assembly line operation is analyzed. Secondly, the external program memory space memory structure and external data memory and program memory extension using skills are discussed. Finally, the IS61LV12816 is taken as an example to design the external memory expansion of the hardware and software. The practice has proved that the mode has great flexibility and practicality.
